Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez has agreed personal terms with Manchester United.

Diario Gol says he and his agent, Jorge Mendes – who also represents Jose Mourinho – have struck terms which would see him join United.

Only a more regular place in the Real team would see the Colombia sensation stick it out in Madrid.

Rodriguez's wife Daniela Ospina – sister to Arsenal keeper David – has even been house hunting in Manchester and London as a backup option.

Daniela said: "The moment he has to make the decision he will take it. If not, I think he will be happy here. I cannot say anything. It's a very personal decision."
