U.S. Army Africa Foreign Policy Advisor, Robin Smith, Shares Her Family’s Experience of the U.S. Civil Rights Movement

In honor of Black History Month, the U.S Embassy is conducting a series of programs highlight the contributions of African Americans to U.S. history and culture. Accordingly, Robin Smith, a U.S. Army Africa Foreign Policy Advisor will give a presentation about her family’s experience during the U.S. Civil Rights Movement, followed by a discussion with participants. 

Black History Month is a month where United States of America honor and celebrate achievements by African Americans and recognize the central role they have played in U.S. culture and history.
