Blackman's Crystal Dangerfield and the Lady Blaze compete in the She Got Game Classic held at Blackman Friday-Sunday. Oakland, Riverdale and Stewarts Creek are also participating in the classic.

MURFREESBORO – Blackman senior Crystal Dangerfield and Dickson County senior Lea Lea Carter were selected as McDonald's All-Americans on Sunday.

The two will compete in the all-star game on March 30 at Chicago's United Center, but on different teams. Dangerfield will compete on the East team. Carter is on the West team.

Dangerfield, a 5-foot-6 point guard, is a two-time Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year and was the 2015 TSSAA Class AAA Miss Basketball. She is the top-rated point guard in the country, averaging 23.4 points, 3.0 assists and 2.4 steals a game for the Lady Blaze.

Dangerfield has signed with Connecticut.

"I'm just honored because there are so many great players in the 2016 class, and I feel blessed because this is one more goal I can check off," said Dangerfield in a direct message on Twitter to The Daily News Journal about the honor.

Carter is a 5-foot-11 guard that has signed with Vanderbilt. She is the first from Dickson County to be selected for the game.

Dangerfield is the second girls basketball player from Rutherford County to be chosen for the game. Former Riverdale standout Alexa Middleton was the last from Tennessee to be picked for the game. Middleton is now a sophomore at Tennessee.

Dangerfield is a two-time DNJ Female Athlete of the year. Dangerfield was joined by Blackman teammate Jazz Bond and Oakland senior Shelby Gibson as nominees for the game.
