Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has heaped praise on former club AS Monaco.
Toure described the French club as “brilliant" following City's thrilling 5-3 win at the Etihad last night.
He said: “Monaco are such a good team, as everyone has seen. They are brilliant. People underrated them but, to be honest, it was not easy. They are young, they have pace, they have desire and they are always looking to attack.
“They have a magnificent academy and they have guys working very well with the kids. They are not afraid to attack and not afraid to play 4-4-2 against a massive team like City. Full credit to them."
