Sunderland have been offered AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez.
Lopez has been made available for a free transfer by Milan and was expected to join Chelsea before their deal for Dinamo Zagreb veteran Eduardo last week.
The former Real Madrid No1 has also been in talks with La Liga clubs, but hopes to move to England today.
Tribalfootball.com has learned agents have contacted Sunderland boss David Moyes about Lopez's availability.
Moyes is in the market for a new keeper today after losing Vito Mannone to an elbow injury.
