Torino president Urbano Cairo wants a decision from Manchester City over Joe Hart.

Toro would like to keep hold of the on-loan goalkeeper for next season.

“The situation with the player is very positive, but then it's all about finding out what City want to do," Cairo told Calciomercato.com at a PR event.

“Obviously we can't wait around to the last minute, the way we did over the summer. The Hart idea only came about in the final week of trading, but we certainly have to work this time to have a squad in place much earlier.

“It's all about understanding if City are open or not. If they are not ready to make a decision relatively quickly, then we'll have to think about alternatives."
