Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes is being linked with a shock move to Manchester City.

Valdes, who is currently on loan with Standard Liege, is out of contract in June and can leave Old Trafford as a free agent.

Sport say Pep Guardiola is looking to capitalise and may reunite with his former pupil at the Etihad.

The pair enjoyed incredible success together at Barcelona, winning a host of domestic and European titles during his four year tenure.

Should he complete a deal, Valdes will join Carlos Tevez, Owen Hargreaves and Andy Cole on the list of players who have represented both Manchester clubs.
