Product description

This recall involves various children's sweaters with drawstrings in the hood or at the neck.

The following sweaters with drawstrings in the hood or at the neck are included in the recall :

Hazard identified

Health Canada has determined that drawstrings on children’s upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged.

Neither Arseno nor Health Canada has received reports of consumer incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these products.

Approximately 4110 of the recalled sweaters were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from 2010 to 2016.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweaters to eliminate the hazard.
