it's odd they had the 2nd left hander to win a major and not the first.

This is the history of golf in Canada. mike weir is from Canada so that is the left hander they care about.

Interesting read!

Some of those drives back in the day, sound very impressive! To have hit drives of 270+ in 1929 is incredible.

In my Clicgear B3 cart bag on my Clicgear 3.0 pushcart:

Rocketballz 10.5* stock stiff shaft

Adams Idea A3 Boxer 19*

TMag Rocketbladez 4i-6i

Mizuno MP53 7i-PW

Mizuno MP-R12 52*, MP-T11 56*, MP-T10 60*

Some old Odyssey putter (Don't laugh, it gets the ball in the hole nicely)

Bridgestone E6

Walking on air with my True Tours and Kentwool socks

No-one will ever have golf under his thumb. No round ever will be so good it could not have been better. Perhaps this is why golf is the greatest of games. You are not playing a human adversary; you are playing a game. You are playing old man par.

I think 2004 is the last time a persimmon was used on tour...

Would I be correct to sat that Davis Love lll was the last playing pro to play a Persimmon Driver ? I think Nicklaus played a Persimmon 3 wood until he was no longer competitive and Sam Snead played the same Persimmon Driver until it broke, after which he glued the parts back together and continued playing that driver, but he was already pretty old by then and may or may not have been competitive.
