. Twitter, FaceBook and YouTube: Has 21st century Social Media ripped
the veil off 'the other'... and we see ourselves each time we look?

YouTube videos. They are like a million SOS messages to the world and
the world's responding!
. Overarching feeling in #IranElection Social Media messages despite
misspelling and punctuation errors etc is the immediacy and the
potency!
. New Media Rules: One Person = One Broadcaster. Twitter, FaceBook and
YouTube are shifting balance forever. Dying news-media failing to
catch up?!!
. Neda or Call: In Iran, a few deaths may have many asymmetric
consequences as revolution runs through a full cycle on social media
over and over again.
. Whatever the outcome #IranElection has proved that Twitter, FaceBook
and YouTube are as significant and paradigm shifting as Telephone,
Radio, Television, Personal Computer and World Wide Web were!

I sent Surrendra a copy of my letter to Obama in a petition about stifling the protests and negativity from the Republicans and support of Obama, and a copy to HQR. Surrendra was asking for ideas because he was getting an opportunity to address India's leadership and a relative of Gandhi I believe ( I thought it was his son? grandson? don't know). The gist was to remind them, the great leaders, Gandhi, MLK, JC, JFK, Lincoln, Einstein, Mandela, Mother Theresa, Mother Mary, and more all say one thing. Love. Love is the greatest power. Get the leaders to work from love and compassion and go from there. I said more, but that was the central issue.
What was neat, I read this aloud to my hubby and right after we turned on the news and Obama was saying his new motto is "love thy neighbor." It seemed to go right with what I wrote. I exclaimed, "See, there's a miracle right there." He couldn't disagree, :) Thanks for what you're doing Surrendra, who luvs ya babee? me, c
Also, India means into the Goddess. Dia is female for God. The Goddess is the compassionate side and the God is the creative side. Compassion rules the universe, including creation. Into the love: India means this.

Also, I have been friends with Iranians on and off for 32 yrs. and been privy to intimate things about their culture. I was also comparing this to Tienanmen Square. When the doctors quit acting like we can't have good health unless through them, when the religions quit acting like we can't have God unless through them, when the governments quit acting like we can't have peace, food, shelter, love, compassion, clean water, communication, access to necessary knowledge etc.. unless through them, when the banks and federal reserve and King Midas mind wealthy quit acting like we can't have abundance unless through them, when we have a true renaissance period with no subsequent dark ages that was purported by the rich, and powerful greed mind mongers to suppress the common man finally crumbles and decays, when each of us all children of divinity stand up and claim our greatness and the realness of living here and now, the end of the old stupid world
is here and the new day is here and we unite together for the greater good. No one wins unless we all do. Obama needs to make that his motto too, besides love thy neighbor.
