Spring has certainly sprung around these parts! I’ve just started harvesting the first flowers of the season and they’re looking fabulous. There’s nothing more luxurious than gathering armloads of fresh hyacinths!!!

The colors, the textures, the scent……heaven!

It’s crazy how many butterflies I have fluttering around in my belly right now.

Standing on the verge of a new season is both thrilling and terrifying!

I’m channeling all of the excitement into some great new projects including my new joint blog venture with grower/designer Jennie Love. Head on over to see what I made with these fat purple hyacinths!!

oooh those look divine… and in some weird and wonderful way, i think that purple looks really lovely with your plaid shirt! by the looks of the photo, when you harvest you pull the whole plant, as with tulips, correct? do you do that with daffodils as well or do they give long enough stems when leaving the bulb in ground? if you do leave the daffs in ground, how many years of harvests are you able to get from them? Thank you!!! Katie
