Bathrobes for children by Boutique Québec Jouet recalled due to flammability hazard
Summary
Immediately stop using the recalled products.
Affected products
This recall involves bathrobes for children with either a fox, mouse or princess hood and with a belt at the waist. They are made of 100% cotton. The products were sold in sizes 6M to 3 years.
Issue
Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that these products do not meet the flammability requirements for children’s sleepwear of the Children’s Sleepwear Regulations.
Loose-fitting children’s sleepwear can contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles, and matches more readily than tight-fitting sleepwear, and once ignited will burn rapidly, potentially resulting in severe burns to large areas of the child’s body.
As of December 15, 2021, the company has not received any reports of Incidents or injuries in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and dispose of them.
