Brazilian attacker Kerlon has spoken of his time with Inter Milan.
Now back home with Villa Nova, Kerlon spent four years with Inter without playing a game.
"It was a shame," he told contra-ataque.it. "When I was a child my dream was to play for Inter, in a great team, but football is about luck. There is a time when fate turns for you and another in which it turns its back on you: I have not had any luck and arrived with a knee injury.
"But I still had a four-year contract with them and I am grateful to Inter and Mino Raiola who helped me a lot. I hope to have another chance to play in a big football team."
Kerlon admits the arrival of Jose Mourinho changed everything.
"When I came back to Inter from Chievo, I was ready to go with the team for the tour of the United States. But Mourinho on his arrival decided that he would only work with what he considered to be his team: therefore he said to me and to 8-9 other players who were not part of his plan, that we were free to leave and find another place. Football is like this, but I do not have anything against Mou."
