April 1 – May 12, 2024

Birdathon is Travis Audubon’s most entertaining way to engage in our mission to protect native birds! Teams of birders compete to see as many birds during one trip as possible. All registration fees and team donations benefit Travis Audubon. All skill levels are welcome to join a trip, start a team, or compete as an individual.

Birdathon 2024 is a great opportunity to enjoy spring migration while fundraising for Travis Audubon.

All teams should follow these guidelines:

  • Teams should not bird outside of Texas.
  • Teams should bird within the limits of half days (up to 6 hours) or full days (6-24 hours). Your team must select a half or full day when you register your team.
  • Birding days should occur during Birdathon dates (April 1 – May 12) and a post-birding day form must be completed to be considered for competition.
  • The registration fee to compete is a minimum $25 donation to Travis Audubon – we will send you the link to donate once you have completed your team registration form.
