I still think of Jan every day. It still feels so odd to me that she is gone. I hope that her daughter has grown strong in the time that has passed and that she is doing well, though I never got to meet her and only heard of her through my chats with Jan. Some day I hope to be able to work on editing the story for her daughter she left in my keeping without having to curl up and let the weight pass.

Jan was a very strong woman, and I am glad to have known her. I have the latest progress that she uploaded to file storage for her book project, so I will make her granddaughter's story available as I had promised her I would. If the family will message me on Facebook or email me, then once it is through the process I will happily send a copy to her grandchild if they are amenable. I never met any of you, but I hope that God holds you safe in His embrace.
