Affected products
This recall involves Crafter’s Square Mini Hot Glue Gun. The plastic glue gun dispenses hot glue when plugged into an outlet and the trigger is depressed. It is black with an orange trigger and tip, and sold in a clear-plastic packaging with a yellow cardboard insert, under the brand name “Crafter’s Square”. The product has a silver UL listed label located above the handle with “GLUE GUN” and “XY-15302” printed on the label.

Issue
The Crafter’s Square Mini Hot Glue Gun may overheat during use and cause the metal nozzle to melt, posing a fire and burn hazards.
As of April 6th 2022, the company has not received any incident reports or injuries in Canada. In the Unites States, the company has received seven reports of electrical incidents and one report of incident with minor injuries.
