Miracle eight-year-old Blue Tobin who was cured of cancer thanks doctors for ‘saving his life’

A MIRACLE boy of eight who was cured of cancer has thanked pioneering doctors for saving his life.
Blue Tobin was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia five years ago and standard chemotherapy failed twice.
But mum Francesca Waite, 51, then gave the go-ahead for Dr Mike Potter at the Royal Marsden Hospital, in South London, to try two treatments that had been used only on adults.
Dr Potter said: "Blue's mum ... wanted to take any chance for Blue as any parent would.
“It is almost a miracle to, from that point, be cured.”

But it worked, allowing Blue, of Canterbury, to have a bone marrow transplant. He was “very happy” yesterday as he rang the hospital’s all-clear bell.
Blue said he was "very happy" to be cured and plans on becoming an even bigger singing sensation who is "more famous than Bruno Mars".
His mother urged other parents going through the same prognosis to "never give up."
She said: "My son is a miracle."
