Right about now you are counting down to 2014 and probably aren’t even going to read my big ole blog, (notice how I said big and not little) lol.  But just in case you do, I don’t want you to think about what you didn’t do in 2013. I don’t want you to say I wish or I would have, or shoulda coulda woulda.  I don’t want you to dwell on the past but look toward the future because your future is bright.  

2013 was a banner year for me.  I’ve found my passion in life and that passion is putting a smile on the face of someone else.  The smile may come through writing this blog, singing, acting, hosting events or it could be because I helped someone clean out their basement or given someone a ride to Costco, nevertheless the end result was that someone was able to feel better because of it.  

My passion for overall Joy and happiness is much like Beyonce’ being passionate about her music.  Because of her passion for her craft, Beyonce’ continues to top herself even down to the last moment.  She didn’t wait until next year to release her new album, she didn’t have an immense amount of hype surrounding it, she just dropped it and went platinum just like that because she is passionate about the music.

In 2014 I’m not telling you to be like Beyonce’ I’m telling you to hold on to your passion and let it work for you, whatever it may be.  Just know that YOUR Beyonce’ best is yet to come for you and for me.  

With that said, be on the look out for more in 2014 from Rhenotha Whitaker.  You ain’t seen nothing yet.  I hope I’ve been able to encourage you throughout this year and hope to be able to encourage you some more.
