NBC's TODAY is kicking off the second installment of "Love Your Selfie," a special series that examines society's obsession with body image, and takes a look at how we can join together to feel more positive about ourselves. "Love Your Selfie, Reclaiming Beauty" begins today, April 27, and will focus on how we can rethink and reclaim beauty.

"Love Your Selfie" launched in February and highlighted inspirational stories from people who are transforming the traditional definitions of beauty. The series featured an impactful "No Makeup Monday" segment where TODAY anchors peeled back the layers of their insecurities to encourage viewers to be comfortable in their own skin.

All next week, Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, Natalie Morales, Carson Daly, Willie Geist, Tamron Hall, Kathie Lee Gifford, Hoda Kotb, Lester Holt, Erica Hill, Jenna Wolfe and Dylan Dreyer will report on a variety of stories on body image. A new topic will be introduced and explored each day. Special guests during the week include Broadway star Sutton Foster and actress Sophia Bush.

As part of the series, TODAY is reaching out to teenagers across the country to create a PSA on what it means to "Love Your Selfie." The PSAs will be featured as part of NBCUniversal's award-winning "The More You Know" campaign across its digital platforms.

TODAY invites viewers to join the conversation by sharing selfies on social media using #LoveYourSelfie. Submitted photos may be featured throughout TODAY's coverage. As part of the "Love Your Selfie, Reclaiming Beauty" series, TODAY.com/LoveYourSelfie will feature tips to boost self-confidence, galleries of selfies, and original essays.
