The affected toys do not comply with the mandatory safety standards for toys for children up to and including 36 months of age 'Consumer Protection Notice No. 14 of 2003, as amended by Consumer Protection No.1 of 2005'.

What consumers should do
Consumers who have purchased an affected product during the specified period should cease using the product immediately and return for a full refund. Returns and refunds only for the following Daiso stores: Daiso Midtown Plaza CBD, Westfield Doncaster, Boxhill Centro, Highpoint Shopping Centre. (Please note: the Hive-Abbotsford store is permanently closed)
