DEP TO RECOGNIZE MIAMI MARLINS FOR RECYCLING EFFORTS
MIAMI – The Florida Department of Environmental Protection will highlight the outstanding recycling efforts of the Miami Marlins, a Major League Baseball team.
DEP's Deputy Secretary Cliff Wilson and Director of Division of Waste Jorge Caspary will be joined by Keyna Cory, executive director, and Chuck Dees, chairman, of the Florida Recycling Partnership to present
the award during a pre-game ceremony at Wednesday's home game. The Miami Marlins
franchise is the first professional sports team to become a part of the DEP’s
Recycling Recognition Program.
