Product description

This recall expansion involves the Mastercraft 5 Gallon Air Compressor 1.5-Hp. The recalled products can be identified by the following model and UPC numbers:

The recall includes all compressors with date codes ending in 2014. The date code is located on the unit name plate on the tank.

Hazard identified

The regulator knob may break off under pressure and may lead to a component failure and cause injury to consumers.

As of June 26, 2019, the company has received 13 reports of incidents in Canada with 1 injury.

Number sold

Approximately 14,000 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from January 2014 to June 2015.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the compressors and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
