Which is Palestinian
and which is Jordanian?

On the same day Dutch politician, Geert Wilders, delivered a speech in Tel Aviv where he declared that Jordan is indeed the state of the Palestinians, the Argentinean government also made a declaration, it said it recognized a Palestinian state in pre-1967 borders of Judea, Samaria and Gaza. Both statements caused a stir in many places around the world.

PVV Dutch MP, Geert Wilders:
“Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan.”

In light of the far reaching ramifications of both statements, they should be then scrutinized for their veracity and historical factuality. First of all, is Jordan a Palestinian state? When looking at the map of the British mandate for what was known then as “Palestine”, it becomes quite clear what area was originally earmarked for the Jewish homeland.

At the end of the First World War, the division of responsibilities for the administering of the Middle East areas fell to the various Western powers victorious over the Ottoman Turks, as mandates, under the auspices of the League of Nations, it was during that time that the famous Balfour Declaration was made:

November 2nd, 1917

Dear Lord Rothschild,

I have much pleasure in conveying to you, on behalf of His Majesty’s Government, the following declaration of sympathy with Jewish Zionist aspirations which has been submitted to, and approved by, the Cabinet.

“His Majesty’s Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.”

I should be grateful if you would bring this declaration to the knowledge of the Zionist Federation.

The Balfour Declaration was accepted by the British Mandate in 1917, which then became subject to a White Paper that many believe reneged on it’s earlier promise, that being a commitment to allowing Jews a homeland. But the paper did insist however that:

“the Jewish community should know that it is in Palestine as of right and not on the sufferance. That is the reason why it is necessary that the existence of a Jewish National Home in Palestine should be internationally guaranteed, and that it should be formally recognized to rest upon ancient historic connection.”

Palestine Facts states that: “The area of the Mandate was originally 118,000 square kilometers (about 45,000 square miles). In 1921, Britain took the 91,000 square kilometers of the Palestine Mandate east of the Jordan River, and created Trans-Jordan (later the Arab country of Jordan) as a new Arab protectorate. Jews were barred by law from living or owning property east of the Jordan river, even though that land was over three-fourths of the original Mandate.”

The Arab official line before a “two state solution” became stated policy of Israel and the West, was that the people in Trans-Jordan cum Jordan were indivisible from those Arabs inside Israel proper, Judea and Samaria. In fact there are statements by leading Arabs buttressing the notion that indeed: Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan.

This is the royal decree and sentiments of two of the kings of Jordan.

“Palestine and Jordan are one…” said King Abdullah in 1948.

“The truth is that Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan,” said King Hussein of Jordan, in 1981.

“Palestine is Jordan and Jordan is Palestine; there is only one land, with one history and one and the same fate,” Prince Hassan of the Jordanian National Assembly was quoted as saying on February 2, 1970.

Abdul Hamid Sharif, Prime Minister of Jordan declared, in 1980, “The Palestinians and Jordanians do not belong to different nationalities. They hold the same Jordanian passports, are Arabs and have the same Jordanian culture.”

What are we to conclude from this other than the historical perspective at the time, that being, they (the Arabs) saw themselves as being part of Palestine/Palestinian. Around 70% of the Jordanian population today, still see themselves as Palestinians. Even Yasser Arafat and his PLO thugs looked to Jordan as being a part of their homeland.

When the PLO tried to establish a state-within-a-state in the kingdom in the late 60’s and early 70’s, Jordan’s King Hussein ordered the army to launch a massive assault on the refugee camps in the kingdom, massacring thousands of Palestinians in what has since become to be known as Black September.

The Palestinians who were expelled from Jordan to Lebanon later played a major role in the Lebanese civil war. Over 100,000 people are believed to have been killed in that war, which lasted for more than a decade.

Lets face facts, the three state solution has become an intractable mess, there is no room for budging on the Israeli side, every square centimeter given to these Arabs as a permanent part of a second Palestinian state, spells trouble for the Jewish state as it’s used as a launching pad for further aggression against it.

The Palestinians (which used to mean Jews in Palestine before Israel became a state) are not able to form a state for themselves, because they refuse to accept the responsibility for actually running it. They have proven themselves to be more comfortable in accepting massive amounts of foreign aid, while they continually try to chip away at Israeli legitimacy on the world stage.

Time to end the pretending that these Arabs are really serious about wanting a state of their own, and accept the fact that it’s the massive amounts of foreign aid that really interests them most, as well as the hope of one day getting rid of the highly successful  Jewish one. KGS

Yes stamps after 1922 of British mandate Palestine would be without the Jordan area BECAUSE the British created the Palestinian state of Jordan in 1922 that is 26 years before the UN created the state of Israel with the permission of the majority of countries, so original mandated Palestine to Britain by the League of nations was split into Israel and an arab state of Jordan. 2/3 to the arab state of Jordan 1/3 to Israel. This means YOU need to check your facts.

      1. the Ottoman Empire during WW1 was partitioned by France and Britain. In 1921 the Emirate of Transjordan was created and became a British protectorate. It was recognized by the League of Nations as part of the British mandate for Palestine but excluded territories east of Jordan river. In 1946 Jordan became an independent state known as the Hashemite kingdom of Transjordan.

In the main, a well backgrounded story of Britain’s colonial intrigues: Give 77% of land that does not belong to them to foreign Hashemite leader and include in the package a military officer, Glubb Pasha, and brigade of ex-British Army mercenaries, supply them with tanks, munitions and give them a free hand in securing the area. Securing also means passing laws that forbid Jews from residing within the territory east of the Jordan River,and from owning land east of the Jordan River (why is it no one condemns Jordan as racist and apartheid, nor condemns Britain for supporting racist /apartheid laws?)
    As to Marilyn’scomments: The claims on the Land of Israel inherited in the Old Testaments hold little water, and like assertions by Arab politiicians that the Jews were given their piece of Palestine because of the Holocaust, make little difference in the United Nations, nor among the nations of the world. What matters is that Israel was founded by Jews dedicated to building and defending their own country, and legally recognized by the United Nations, the same organization that consistently, and baselessly, condemns them for defending their borders and their right to exist (this is easily explained by examining the list of members in the UN Security Council). Marilyn alsoerrs in claiming that Israel included Jordan – what was included was land east of the Jordan River, but not all of Jordan, which was inhabited by neighboring tribes, such as the Edomites.
    The rational solution to the situation today is a 2 states solution: Israel and Palestine (the majority of Palestine consisting of what is Presently the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (interesting that the liberals condemn Israel for wanting to preserve their identity as a Jewish State, while never mentioning that Jordan is a Hashemite kingdom, or that Iran is an Islamic republic – a contradiction in terms!). Palestine would maintain their capital in Rabat Amman, and work out a joint governance of what is presently called th West Bank/Judea and Samaria, allowing Palestinians and Jews (Israelis) to reside in the sector (claims from Palestinians that Jews have no rights to land in Judea and Samaria are falacious, given the long history of Jewish residence in Havron, and morerecent stories of ethnic cleansing of the Gush Emunim settlements during the 1948 War. Palestinian claims on Gaza are unilateral, as the territory is not desired by Israel or Egypt (Gaza was never part of a Jewish region regarding partition, and Israel wantsnothing to do with ruling the area.
    When everything went astray, and even Israelis abandoned Gold Meir’s definition of a 2 state solution, I do not know, but somehow, we must go back to that definition if we are to attain a resolution in Palestine (Israel, Palestine and Transjordan).

  6. Finally, at long last, someone is saying the same thing that I’ve been saying till I’m blue-in-the-face. Jordan was part of the British Mandate and was called ‘Palestine’. They gave the area, called ‘Palestine’, to Abdulla the following year, which later became known as ‘Jordan’. That is a fact-a historical fact. There is a Palestinian state, and it is called ‘Jordan’. In all reality, this is no longer Israel’s problem; the problem lies with the Heshemite Kingdom of Jordan in letting the Palestinian refugees in the Kingdom, despite the ‘Black September’ massacre. Imagine the IDF mass killing thousands of Palestinians like the Jordanians did. International outrage, including the Obama White House, would be immediate and scathing (and rightly so). But when it comes to Jordan, no one recalls the event, and no one is told of it. Odd.

You need to go farther back in your history, or simply refer to authors like Avi Shlaim, who write about the Hashemites and Israel: Abdullah, the present king of Jordan’s grandfather, was son of Husayn, Sherif of Mecca, with much ambition to rule an Arab kingdom from Arabia to Syria, Lebanon and Palestine. After being thrown out of the Hejaz by the Sauds, and losing Mecca, Abdullah was given TransJordan by the British, and proped up by the Arab Legion (which was led by, financed by and armed by the British).
    While Churchil thought that giving Abdullah his own Emirate, takig from Palestine the region east of the Jordan River, Abdullah thought his kingdom too small, and claimed Maan and Aqaba from the Saudis, and coveted western Palestine for his kingdom as well.
    Emir Abdullah finally got his opportunity to claim a holy city and part of western Palestine when, in 1948, his Arab neighbors attacked Israel. The British-backed Arab Legion took over the west bank and Jerusalem (they evicted Jews from the Old City and from kibbutzim near Hebron, and even built a wall to divide the city, preventing former Jewish Jerusalemites from returning to their homes.
    So not only did the Hashemites take over a good part of Palestine, whih they ruled for 20 years, keeping Palestinians in misrable conditions (it was never the Israelis who kept Palestinians in refugee camps), the Jordanians were the first to built a segregation wall nd inforced an apartheid policy against Jews.
    Because Jordan annexed Jerusalem, the members of the Arab League, the British and the UN never condemned Jordan for taking over the territory, or treating the Palestinians as refugees in their own land, it was only when Israel liberated the territory, that thhese parties condemned Israel for surviving the Arab forces in 1967, and releasing the territories from non-Palestinian annexation.
    The world has to know that as far back as 1920, Arabs put forth political ideas of a united Syria, Palestine and Jordan, all ruled by a single foreign regent from an alien (the Hashemites were from the Hejaz) clan, with no connection to the Palestinians, Jordanians or Syrians.
    In as much as the Palestinians complain that the British had no right to promise a homeland in Palestine for the Jews, they had no right to ensconce the Hashemites in Iraq, Syria and TransJordan; but they did, and having done so, the British even prevented the locals, including Emir Abdullah, from consummating agreements with Jews to invest in, settle in and develop agricultural developments outside of the designated west Palestinian territory (again, more apartheid policies, not of the Jews or Israelis making).
    The British left Emir Abdullah and his arid kingdom impoverished and reliant on the British Foreign Office, and British troops. They also built up sentiment in the area against the Zionists west of the Jordan River.
    Had the British allowed the peoples living in the area to work out their issues amongst themselves, the map would have been very different, and we would be talking of a two state solution consisting og Palestine.Jordan and Israel, trading with each other, and managing more porous borders, allowing more freedom for crossing, for commerce and for development.

    3. I agree with most of your article except where your seperate the Arab “Palestinians from the Arab “Jordainians”. These are one and the same people even though Jordan is ruled by a Hashemite Arab most of the Arabs living in Jordan are “Palestinian” Arabs (around 85%) As you know both “Palestinians” and “Jordanians” were a created people. When the British mandate criminally partitioned 77% of Israel to create the Kingdom of Jordan…the Arab “Palestinians” who were fighting for their own land were meant to move to this new country but the Arab league had their own designs for the remainder of the Jewish lands and made sure that a large presence of the so call “Palestinians” remained in Israel to continue their never ending quest to drive the Jews out of all Israel. The best solution to end the conflict is for the world to recognize that there is already a Palestine east of the Jordan river and to allow to move the “Palestinian” Arabs out of all Heretz Yishrael.

  9. It is said that the new Princess of Cambridge is really a Jewess. When Prince William has his first son, maybe this future King of England will be recognized as a Jew. Hopefully he will return to his Jewish roots and recognize the Law of Torah throughout the world and bring all the Jews back to Israel. In the meantime, since England loves its Arabs so much, we should just switch England’s Jews and Israel’s Arabs in a population transfer. End of problem, as Jordan doesn’t seem to want them, and Israel certainly shouldn’t keep them.

    The disparate peoples assumed and purported to be settled Arab indigenes, for a thousand years were in fact a heterogeneous community with no Palestinian identity and according to an official British analysis in 1920, no Arab identity either: The people west of the Jordan are not Arabs,only Arabic-speaking.
    The first Palestinian nationalist organisations emerged at the end of the World War I after the defeat of the Ottoman Empire. Dominated by the Nashashibi family who militated for the promotion of a singular Arabic language,culture and Islamic laws for Syria and Palestine thereby excluding the non-muslim populace.

    The Palestinian National Charter was amended by the PLO’s Palestine National Council in 1968,it redefined “Palestinians” as “those Arab nationals who, until 1947, resided in Palestine regardless of whether they were evicted from it or stayed there. Anyone born, after that date, of a Palestinian father – whether in Palestine or outside it – is also a Palestinian.” Thereby claiming a dominant populace with non-residents.
    “Arab nationals” is not religious-specific, and it implicitly does not exclude the Christians, Samaritans, Druze and Jews of Palestine who were at that time Arabic-speakers and ancestral natives to the land.
    The Charter also states that “Palestine with the boundaries it had during the British Mandate, is an indivisible territorial unit.”

    In 2009, at the request of the PLO, “Jordan revoked the citizenship of thousands of Palestinians to keep them from remaining permanently in the country.”

    Today
    In Jordan there is no census data that outlines how many of the inhabitants of Jordan are Palestinians, estimates by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics cite a population range of 50% to 55%.

    According to the Palestinian Academic Society for the Study of International Affairs, the Palestinian population of the West Bank and Gaza Strip is 97% Muslim and 3% Christian.Forced conversion,religious intolerance,racism and discriminatory laws have reduced what was once a world class diverse society,religious sanctury and ancestral homeland into a third world,segregated and uneducated patchwork of villages that prefer violence to logic,historical revisionism to facts and primitive destruction to modern construction.

    In the areas controlled by the Palestinian National Authority, it is treason to give assistance to Israeli troops or sell land to Jews (irrespective of nationality) and also non-Jewish Israeli citizens under the Palestinian Land Laws. Both crimes are capital offences subject to the death penalty. Likewise, in the Gaza Strip under the Hamas led government, any sort of cooperation or assistance to Israeli forces during military actions is also punishable by death.

    From 1920-1970 Arab and muslim states and territories conducted random persecution and pogroms on their Jewish citizens ,driving 1.2million people from their homes,confiscating over 1 billion dollars in bank accounts and assets and stealing land equal to four times the size of todays Israel .

    The overwhelming archeological,historical,international and legal evidence makes denial of Semitic and Jewish history in Palestine impossible.
    Judaism is the parent of monotheistic religions and as such has a right and responsibility to the birth land of their religion.As Muslims do to Mecca.The intertwining and overlapping of the three religions in Jerusalem are supported in religious text but have very little factual evidence other than a 4000 year trail of Judaic inhabitation.
    The cowardice,failure and greed of the UK ,EU,USAand UN may well have determined the final fate of the Jews in our lifetime.

      All of the archaeological evidence that has been found points to the existence of a Jewish nation on the land.

Before that, the land of Palestine/Eretz Israel was made up of Jews and several Arab nationalities. Many of these Arabs arrived at the same time – or even after – the first Zionist settlers. Historically, the Jewish people have the closest connection to the land. The Jews were in ‘Palestine’ well before it was invaded by Muslim Arabs. The Jews have maintained a presence in the land for three thousand years and many Diaspora Jews have yearned to return to Israel ever since the Romans sacked Jerusalem and demolished the Temple. If there is such a thing as Palestinian culture, it is not worth having. As for where all the violence “came from”, I think you’ll find that most of the violence was committed by Muslims against Jews e.g. the Hebron massacre. And also bear in mind that there would not be any need for international aid if a) the Arabs had accepted the partition plan; b) the Arabs hadn’t invaded Israel in 1948 and c) if the neighboring Arab nations had integrated the refugees in the same way Israel had to integrate around 700,000 Jewish refugees kicked out of Arab countries for the crime of being Jewish.

    In my opinion what follows should be said again and again (may be in other more concise, more accurate form) for example before your first post of the day, in order to somehow install a basic truth.

    The Arabs occupy a lot of other peoples since the 7th century. The nature of their rule never changes: ethnic and religious cleansing. It’s still going on under your eyes.
    In 1925 the Chaldeans (non Arabs, non Muslims) were a majority in Iraq (British census); less than 1% today. Same for the Copts in Egypt, the Tamazight in Morocco, the Kabyles in Algeria. The black peoples of Africa (Sudan, Mauritania, Zanzibar etc) are enslaved by the Arab occupiers. WHAT DO WE DO FOR ALL THESE PEOPLES? The Jews were, by millions, indigenous to the region 2,000 years before the Arab occupation; today the “Arab World” is completely judenrein.
    The Arab occupation is NOT the result of any external aggression. It is a murderous invasion they proudly call “the Arab conquest”. The worst predators this planet has ever seen …. And besides, they turned the countries they occupied into a huge cesspool.

  18. We should all remember that the division of the Palestine Mandate at the Jordan River was done by Winston Churchill when he handed over the land to Abdullah as a state for the Muslims. The balance of the land was property that belonged to the Jewis state, later called Israel in 1948. Muslims have no actual claim to the land under western laws, but the Koran tells a different story. That story is especially significant to westerners and Islamic immigration. Under the laws of the Koran (Shariah) wherever Muslims reside that land belongs to them. Barack Hussein Obama stated that “America is one of the largest Muslim nations in the world.” You, as infidels, did not understand what he meant because what he meant had particular meaning to Muslims worldwide: Muslims live in the west and India. That means under Koran law your lands no longer belong to Christians, Jews and Hindus. That spirit of Islam should tell all Americans that Obama is a closet Muslim who perhaps believes he is the Mahdi, or Hidden Imam, or simply a Saudi plant in America. Not a lot of his history makes any sense. How did he get back to America? Born of a Muslim he is a Muslim under the laws of Shariah. He can only be one of two things: An apsotate of Islam that needs to be killed for converting to Christianity, or a closet Muslim. I state only logic and understanding of Shariah. Western liberal-leftism and Christian ideology is irrelevant where Islam and Muslims are concerned.

    Later many used the term for regions by far to wide of the historian sites on which Philistines once settled as a tribe from about 1200 to about 800 BC. The word was abused even more than it was already abusivley used by Romans ……
    It became also ectensively used by the later Conquerors – the Muslims for reasons of hiding them behind this word – not to be seen as the cruel and bloody emperors and brutal colonialists and enslavers they became in the region.

    That Israelis won land back is a bit as if North American Indian tribes did win land of their ancestors back from the Invaders.

  20. On the subject of “Palestinian culture” – Many of the inhabitants of the land were Jews and non-Arab Christians and Druze, forced or coerced into converting to Islam. Arabic is not an indigenous language to any land but Arabia. Arabic Muslim conquest was achieved only through violent means which would clearly define Arabic/Muslim culture as imperialism in the worst sense of the word. Other “Palestinians” were migrant workers who came to British mandated Palestine to work and for a better life since life under Arab and Arabized rulers was as truly hideous as it was under the Ottoman Empire.

    The Hashemites were from Saudi Arabia and not “Palestinian” at all but were given the land meant for the non-Jewish people when partition took place. They got the lion’s share and the best part — the Jews got a fraction and mostly dry arid, “unproductive” land. Will wonders never cease: the Jews turned their dry, arid sliver of land into a Garden of Eden and the Hashemites and their Arabized inhabitants turned their large, good, green land into just another Middle Eastern garbage dump. Funny how things turn out, isn’t it?

    Well, it is now January 2014, and the Hashemite Kingdom is about to disappear. Even the King says so. Eighty percent of its inhabitants are “Palestinian”, and from what I hear, they hate the King and want to make a few changes. Jordan will become their official home and when it does, the whole situation will change. The P.A. will disappear, as Mahmoud Abbas will join Arafat (courtesy of his own people and Hamas), and Hamas will be defeated by the Egyptian military. The “Palestinians” in Syria are starving to death thanks to Assad and the Islamists, and in Libya, Lebanon and God knows where else, “Palestinians” are so hated by their neighbors, I wonder if they too will not vanish from the earth without so much as a peep from their “supporters” in the West.

It also stated that the Jewish people are to set up their own government and none other. The Arabs also ejected close to a million Jewish people from their countries and confiscated their homes and assets, about a third of the Jewish people died while leaving the Arab countries.
    The Arab/Moslems are not interested in creating a 22nd Arab controlled country.
    Their only desire is to annihilate the one and only Jewish state.

Where was the “Palestinian people” then? Had they all gone away on their holidays that week?     The Revd. Samuel Manning, a christian clergyman, also visited in 1874 and wrote: “…But where were the inhabitants? This fertile plain, which might support an immense population, is almost a solitude… Day by day we were to learn afresh the lesson now forced upon us, that the denunciations of ancient prophecy have been fulfilled to the very letter: ‘the land is left void and desolate and without inhabitants’.”

    Secondly, it may be regrettable, but it’s a fact of life that wars inevitably end with one side being defeated and forced into capitulation by the military might of the other side. Germany surrendered to the Allies in Europe in May 1945 and, in August later that same year, Japan did likewise in the Pacific. The British Commonwealth, the United States and Russia would still be at war with the Axis Powers were it not for Germany’s and Japan’s respective unconditional surrenders. The war between Israel and those who call themselves “Palestinians”, however, drags on and on, erupting from time to time into open hostilities; and why?—because every time Israel comes close to winning and finally putting an end to the war, the poor hardly-done-by Arabs go crying to the United Nations, the European Union and anyone else who will listen to them, and pressure is brought on Israel to stop short of its final aim which is, after all, just the right for its citizens to live in safety and security without having constantly to be staring at the sky wondering when a massive flying bomb is going to come from nowhere and maim or even kill their children while they sleep in their beds, or having to live in constant fear that a gang of murderers will emerge from a hidden tunnel and kidnap or kill those children. Let nobody forget, too, that the so-called “Palestinians” ARE the “guilty party” in that it is THEY who have _NEVER_ stopped attacking Israel by firing huge numbers of rockets with high explosive payloads towards civilian targets (which in itself is a war-crime). How can anyone expect the Middle East dispute to end as long as possibly well-meaning but very misguided bleeding-heart liberals keep interfering and intervening and PREVENTING it being settled in the only way wars have ever been settled throughout history?

There is no Palestinian language or religion, and until very recently they considered themselves simply ‘Arabs’. Their culture is almost entirely defined by their opposition to the Jewish State. Teaching hate, violence and terror to their children. There never was an Arab-Palestinian State or people in History. The Arab Palestinians have a State in Jordan which is 80% of the land originally allocated to the Jewish people under the San Remo Treaty of 1920.

    We are tired of hearing that “the Arab-Palestinians deserve a state.” We are indigenous here, not them, and their behavior entitles them more to a trial at The Hague than to a State. The Arab- Palestinians have a State it is called Jordan which was carved out of Jewish allocated land in 1922, in violation of the treaty of 1920.

    And they certainly don’t deserve our Jewish State, which is the only State they want. They already took 80% of Jewish allocated land which is Jordan, a country that never existed in history before WWI. Israel also gave them the Gaza Strip.

    We are tired of hearing about ‘The Occupation’, it is “Liberated Jewish Land”. As Minister Naftali Bennett said the other day, you can’t be an occupier in your own land. The Arabs are the occupiers, Greater Israel has been a Jewish State for 4,000 years even if it was temporarily conquered and occupied by various nations over the centuries.

    We are tired of hearing that “settlements are illegal under international law.” They are not. The San Remo Treaty of 1920 explicitly stated that Jewish people can reside anywhere in the Mandate for Palestine, those terms have not been abrogated and are set in perpetuity.

    We are tired of hearing that “settlement construction is an obstacle to peace.” Arab rejectionism, destruction, violence, terrorism and suicide bombing is the reason there is no peace. When the Arab-Palestinians teach and preach hate, terror and destruction to their children, this is definitely not a road to peace and coexistence.

There were about 600,000 Arabs that left their homes in 1948, mostly of their own volition, more or less at the same time as the over 990,000 Jewish refugees from Arab countries, of which the Arabs confiscated their homes and land (which is 4 times the size of Israel) and assets totaling over 15 trillion dollars.     Patricia Metzger’s campaign to achieve justice sheds light on a little-discussed aspect of the Israeli-Arab conflict: In the wake of the War of Independence and the establishment of Israel, two major population movements took place in the Middle East. The one that is frequently mentioned is the Palestinian exodus, but at the same time almost one million Jews were forced to leave Arab countries where they had lived for hundreds of years. According to official Arab statistics, due to persecution, some 980,000 Jews left those countries from 1948 to the beginning of the 1970’s, and about 610,000 of them were absorbed in Israel. For the sake of comparison, the United Nations data estimate the original population of Arab-Palestinian refugees at 585,000.
    Because we had no home for nearly two thousand years, Israel made itself independent of its Arab-British oppressors in 1948. In that year, another great Jewish Exodus occurred, leading to a large increase in the population of Israel and the decimation of some of the oldest Jewish communities on earth.

    Jews have lived in the countries now occupied by Arabs since the destruction of the first Temple in 586 B.C.E. Yet, the descendants of these original inhabitants of so many Middle Eastern lands were driven out of their ancestral homes by the religious bigotry and racial animosity of the Arab invaders.

    In 1945 there were more than 995,000 Jews living in Arabic speaking countries. Today, there are less than 6,000. Some Arab states like Libya are completely judenrein, i.e., cleansed of Jews, as the Arabs’ best friend, Hitler, liked to say.

    About 640,000 of these Jews were absorbed by Israel. Another 360,000 went to Europe, America or Australia. Evidently, then, the refugee problem in the Middle East consists of the failure of the Arab states to compensate these 988,000 for the property and assets they were forced to leave behind.

    Examples are Iraq, which once had a Jewish population of 97,000 and now only has less than one hundred Jews left. A good number of Jews left Egypt in 1948. Egypt is the country where Yasser Arafat was born (Arafat is an Egyptian. His real name is Husseinei). There were 81,000 Jews in Egypt in 1948. Yet, in connection with the Egyptian aggression of 1957, more than 27,300 Jews were forced to leave Egypt. Today, the Jewish community in Egypt amounts to only 180. These Jews left assets of $55 billion, for which they should now be compensated.

    There are no Jews in Algeria today. That country is also Judenrein. In 1948 there were 160,000 Jews in Algeria. In Morocco, which was the home of 298,000 Jews before 1948, there are today only 5,700 Jews. Similar decimation occurred in Syria, Tunisia, Yemen and other Arab states. The governments of the these countries forcibly expelled all Jews, who then increased the Israeli population. From the Arab point of view that was indeed as stupid a policy as the Arab incitement of the Russian population against the Jews in that country. That anti-Jewish campaign by the Arab agitators led to the arrival in Israel of over a million Russian Jews. Many of the Jews were engineers and scientists of the first order. This helped Israel a great deal. Now the Arabs are making life miserable for the Jews of France and Belgium. There are over 750,000 Jews in France. If the Arabs keep up their attacks on these European Jews then Israel will again absorb a large contingent of Jews forced to flee France (and Belgium).

    The Jewish exodus from the Arab lands was dramatic. Many Jews fled on foot while others were rescued by “Operation Magic Carpet.” This consisted of bringing 56,000 Yemeni Jews to Israel by plane.

    It is evident, therefore, that the “refugee problem” in Israel consists of the failure of the Arabs to pay compensation to the one million Jews who were driven out of their homelands by the Arab hate mongers.

    And There were riots prior to Israel existing. Simply wounding or killing Jews because there was a chance that Israel would exist.

Tell me that 5 Times the land of Israel taken from Jews and 990 Billion dollars in personal assets and Jewish-owned real-estate left behind in Arab lands has been estimated at 120,000 square kilometers (four times the size of the State of Israel).     1. Beginning with November 28, 1947, all Jewish citizens of (Name of Arab Country) will be considered as members of the Jewish minority State of Palestine and will have to register with the authorities of the region wherein they reside, giving their names, the exact number of members in their families, their addresses, the names of their banks and the amounts of their deposits in these banks. This formality is to be accomplished within seven days.

    2. Beginning with (November 28, 1947), bank accounts of Jews will be frozen. These funds will be utilized in part or in full to finance the movement of resistance to Zionist ambitions in Palestine.

    3. Beginning with (November 28, 1947), only Jews who are subjects of foreign countries will be considered as “neutrals”. These will be compelled either to return to their countries, with a minimum of delay, or be considered as Arabs and obliged to accept active service with the Arab army.

    4. Jews who accept active service in Arab armies or place themselves at the disposal of those armies, will be considered as “Arabs”.

    5. Every Jew whose activities reveal that he is an active Zionist will be considered as a political prisoner and will be interned in places specifically designated for that purpose by police authorities or by the Government. His financial resources, instead of being frozen, will be confiscated.

    6. Any Jew who will be able to prove that his activities are anti-Zionist will be free to act as he likes, provided that he declares his readiness to join the Arab armies.

    7. The foregoing (para.6) does not mean that those Jews will not be submitted to paragraphs 1 and 2 of this law.

    Jews have the absolute right for their homeland. Zionism the movement itself was created during the second half the 1800′s. Jews purchased a substantial amount of territories in Palestine-Israel (see testimony of the Mufti of Jerusalem in front of the British Peel Commission) from local sheikhs and lords and built settlements there. This dates as early as 1860, that is 79 years before WWII.

    Romans conquered Israel in 63 C.E., and in 70 A.D. destroyed the Jewish second Temple.
    Which was followed by these conquests:
    Byzantines in 313; Persian in 614; Arabs Muslims 636 CE; Crusaders 1099; and the Mamluks in 1291.
    Then came the Ottoman Empire in 1517. In 1564 the Ottoman Empire encouraged and stimulated Jewish immigration which added over 10,000 new Jewish returnees to Palestine-Israel (The Ottoman land records for Palestine showed that the government owned over 90% of the land) and the British Rule 1918-1948.
    During the time of the Roman rule of Israel, the Jews in the kingdom called Judea revolted against the Roman rule. The Romans crushed the rebellion, exiled many Jews out of the country, seized many others and turned them into slaves deporting them to Rome and other places. Not only that, they changed the name of the land from Provincia Judea to Palestine to humiliate the Jews.
    For 600 years or so, Arab Muslims imperialism spread throughout the Middle East from Arabia. Among other conquests, the Arabs conquered Judea-Palestine, killing many of the local Jewish population, and converting many into Islam. The story of how the Arabs got to Palestine is the story of conquest, imperialism and occupation.
    During the 19th and 20th century, when Arabs had little to no interest in the land of Israel, Jews bought massive amounts of land and resettled there. After WWI the Allied Powers, the international community and the League of Nations under the San Remo Treaty of 1920 assigned the British “The Mandate for Palestine” as trustee over the land so that a Jewish state would be created in that land. The British had their own agenda in mind.
    The original Mandate territory included what is today Israel; Gaza, Parts of Sinai, West Bank (Judea and Samaria), Jordan and the Golan Heights. The British had their own agenda and divided the country up. They gave to the Arabs the allocated land which had been Mandated to the Jewish people in violation of the San Remo Treaty of 1920: everything East of the Jordan river. This land which was intentionally given to the Arabs constituted 80% of the land allocated to the Jewish people. The British gave the land to the Hashemite Kingdom for the Arab population in order to create a new State: Trans-Jordan. The British also traded the Golan Heights to the French who ruled Syria for oil in Iraq. Thus, after already separating the country into one Arab state Trans-Jordan, which is present day Jordan, they intended to break up the remaining Jewish land West of the Jordan River, present day Israel and wrongfully give it to the Arabs.

    In the meanwhile a conflict emerged over territorial boundaries between the Jewish inhabitants and the Arabs. The U.N. proposed a deal to split the remaining land of the British Mandate for Palestine (yes, split yet again) into an Arab state and a Jewish state. The Jewish leadership accepted the proposal, provided the Arabs also accept it. The Arabs declined. Thus the 1948 war began. A war in which the Arabs with armies from Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon and local militias of Arabs, and help on a smaller scale from the armies of Algeria and Libya attacked the new Jewish entity. The Arab coalition had the weapons and a large army and were confident on victory, to the extent, that they asked the local Arab inhabitants to vacate the land while they decimated the Jews. But fate had other plans. Through divine intervention, the Arabs lost that war. Many Arab civilians fled their homes because their Arab leadership told them to. Some were panicked by rumors. There were only a few incidents with civilians. (It is an important fact that during the war of 1948, Jewish settlements that were seized by Arab forces were razed to the ground – Kfar Etzion for example and the remaining population there killed).
    The true and detailed facts and history is much more voluminous and complex. The problem Israel faces is that it is not as quick to explain the 4000+ years of Jewish history in Israel to counter the Arab lies and propaganda. Lies are easier to spread. However, upon close examination of the historical facts, the lies are exposed as baseless propaganda and should be dismissed as such.
    It should be noted only a small segment of history is being presented here. I did not enumerate anything about how Arabs used terror and violence since the beginning of the conflict. I did not mention that before Arab nationalism and Muslim radicalism took over, the small Arab community was glad that the Jews were coming back to their ancestral homeland, providing an economic boost and jobs to the region, (even king Faisal was delighted.) I did not enumerate or discuss in detail the Arab-Palestinian refugees without telling how and why they became refugees.
    I might also mention that the Arab countries expelled over a million Jewish people, confiscated their assets, businesses, homes and land (120,000 sq. km. which is five times the size of Israel and valued in the trillions of dollars). About 650,000 of those Jewish refugees from Arab countries were resettled in Greater Israel.
    It is time for the Arab countries who expelled the million Jewish people to resettle the Arab-Palestinian refugees in their own countries, and or Jordan, and put an end to this conflict and ending the misery and displacement of the Arab Palestinians. This will bring about peace and coexistence which the people so rightfully desire and deserve. It will bring economic prosperity and an increase in the standard of living for all the people.

    Israel’s rights to the land is ingrained in history, archeological findings, international law and possession. Just like the Arab States have not been required to defend their legitimacy, Israel should also not be required to defend its’ legitimacy. The 21 Arab States and the State of Israel were set up by the Allied Powers after WWI, when the Ottoman Empire relinquished its title to the territories to the Allied Powers. The British were assigned as trustee for the Jewish people to help reconstitute the Jewish State as Implemented by the San Remo Treaty of 1920. The San Remo Treaty adopted the Balfour Declaration of 1917. Of importance is the fact treaty terms and documents prove there was no state allocation of land to any other people or nation other than the Jewish people in Israel. It should also be noted the League of Nations set up the Mandate for Palestine as a State for the Jewish people with exclusive political rights.
    The Jewish people who lived in Israel for over 4,000 had additional Jewish immigration in the mid 1800. The local Jewish people with the infusion of more Jewish immigration, resources, funding and with the explicit permission by the Ottoman government, started developing the land. Within a short time the Jewish people started turning the desert and desolation into green pastures, thus, building an economy, agriculture, housing and industry. Many Arabs from neighboring depressed states who viewed this development as an opportunity for work and an improved standard of living, came to work in Palestine.
    It is of interest in this conflict to take into consideration. The Arab countries expelled over a million Jews, confiscated their assets, businesses, homes and land 5-6 times the size of Israel. Most of these expelled Jews from Arab countries were resettled in Greater Israel.
    Over the past 68 years Israel has become a thriving nation with exemplary innovation in education, technology, high tech industry and medicine. Many nations admire Israel’s outstanding development and innovation. Israel has always been extending a helping hand to any nation that wants to learn and advance in industry, technology and medicine.
    The Arab-Palestinians saw an opportunity to get land and a country that was developed and flourished by the Jewish people. They decided that through intimidation, harassment and violence to usurp the Jewish habitants into capitulating to their scheme of an Arab-Palestinian State on Land allocated to the Jewish people . The Arab-Palestinians live on charity from the nations of the world. They are unwilling to help themselves. After the 1967 war when Israel defeated the 5 Arab armies who tried to destroy it, Israel started employing many of the Arabs in the liberated Jewish territory, educating them in agriculture and water resources. In the following years the standard of living of the Arabs jumped 5 fold and more, and their economy and housing blossomed. When the terrorist organization entered the picture and instigated the Arab population to start terror and violence against the Israelis, the economic advancement was slowed down if not halted. The dire predicament of the Arab-Palestinians is of their own making.
    If you look at Arab land it is desolate and barren, with few exceptions. At the same time, the Jewish land is blooming and developing at an accelerated tempo. The Arabs, rather than follow the example set by Israel, tried to take the Jewish land by force and lost 4 wars in a span of 25 years.
    The Arab-Palestinians current actions in the political and legal arena is a result of losing 4 wars and various battles with Israel. They not only could not win ground, but in fact have caused themselves a downward spiral toward economic desolation.
    The Arab-Palestinians have switched tactics and have now gained more ground and concessions by playing the peace game. The Arab-Palestinians obfuscation and disinformation campaign along with various pleadings in front of the U.N. and other International bodies has gained them more inroads. The power of oil and the Arab Countries, who do not want the Arab-Palestinians to return to their countries, are helping them promote the false information, and utilizing their numerical control in the U.N. to pass any resolution that they deem necessary to advance their cause.
    Money, power and greed promoted hate and anti-Semitism by the Arabs in order to force Israel into surrendering territory to the Arab-Palestinians. The Arabs are trying to initiate land piracy camouflaged as legal rights to the land of Israel.
    Jewish resistance to persecution by the Arabs and the world at large: Any level headed individual would think that after WWII and the 6 million Jews exterminated in the Holocaust (plus another 5 million of other ethnic groups) would diminish, if not eliminate anti-Semitism and baseless hatred. It seems that no matter the amount of unwarranted persecution, and no matter the sacrifices the Jewish people have endured through the ages, Anti-Semitism continues to raise its ugly head.
    The Media is guilty of escalating hostilities and violence in Israel and elsewhere. The Media has a responsibility to deliver fair and unbiased reporting. They influence the information that people rely on. It is an awesome responsibility and it must be handled with factual un-slanted reporting. Peoples lives depend on it; maybe yours or someone you love. Do we need a legal task force to discipline the Media when they intentionally distort the truth and or stage events for Media sensationalism? I would like your comments and input.
    The affects on the world at large: Has humanity lost its values and fairness? The answer is no. In order to lose something, one must first possess it and the truth is, the world has never had total control of values and fairness. In today’s world, where money and power is pursued at all costs (see Machiavelli) , the core family unit is disintegrating and family values deteriorating. Honesty, integrity and fair-play seem to be a thing of the past. Where are we as human beings of the 21st century heading? Obviously downward.
    Take some time to reflect on the truth of what is stated here. Do you really want this kind of world for your children? Senseless hate and destruction must not be tolerated. I urge you to wake up, take the bull by the horn and pursue a path of correction, or we are doomed as a civilized people.

    No one is mentioning that the Arab countries had ejected about a million Jewish people and their children from their countries, confiscated their assets, businesses, homes and Real estate. Many of the Jews ejected from Arab countries died while their forced departure from Arab countries, due to hardship, famine and starvation. 650,00 Jewish people and their children of these expelled Jewish people and their children were resettled in Greater Israel. They had their businesses and homes pillaged, their wives and daughters raped, sold them as slaves, their houses of worship pillaged and burned, forced conversion to Islam.

    Today over half of Israel’s population are Jews expelled from Arab countries and their children and grandchildren.

    The Audacity of the Arab countries in demanding territory from the Jewish people in Palestine after they ejected over a million Jewish people and their children who have lived in Arab land for over 2,000 years and after they confiscated all their assets and Real estate 5-6 times the size of Israel (120,440 sq. km. – 75,000 sq. mi.), valued in the trillions of dollars.
    Now the Arab nations are demanding more land and more compensation.
    The Arab countries have chased the million Jews and their children and now the want to chase them away again, from their own historical land.

If you replace “Death to the Jews” with “Death to the Buddhists”, or “Death to the Catholics”, or “Death to the Pagan worshipers” or “Death to the Kenyans or the Japanese”, what would these words mean other than menacing hate based in evil? This is a macabre, pure Nazi statement that these people gladly promote with the moronic mob mentality that they embrace. This brings only promises of chaos and fear and not respect, or a possible evolution toward a solution of coexistence.

    If the world destroys the Jews, which will never happen with the help of the almighty, the impact of losing the Jewish contributions to the world will be significant and catastrophic.
    The advances made in medicine, science, technology, law, philosophy and every corner of higher learning and progressive humanity as a direct result of Jewish contributions are etched in history and cannot be denied.

    The Jewish people have survived and prospered even after thousands of years of unwarranted hate and persecutions throughout history. The world at large over the centuries has forced the Jewish people time and time again to liberate themselves from constant discrimination, hate and persecution in the Diaspora. We rose and responded by bringing about the rebirth of modern Israel in its ancestral land in order to survive, strive, thrive and control our own future and destiny.

    Remember, when the Jews and minorities were persecuted, killed and violated in the Arab and Islamic lands, (over a million Jewish families and their children expelled and all their assets confiscated), those countries never recovered from the loss.

    Differences in human composition and dedication are what make the Jewish people stronger. George Washington stated during his comments to the American people about appreciating how Haym Solomon, a Jew, helped in financing the American revolution, that the cultural differences are what make a nation stronger. Israel is the thriving America of Jews worldwide.

    After over 2500 years of persecution in the Diaspora, Israel through hard work, determination to succeed, and dedication to survive with control of its own destiny was reborn by the Jewish people against all odds. It took extreme faith, dedication, hardship and consistent toil to rebuild Israel one grain of sand at a time, inch by inch, foot by foot, and mile by mile. The Jews of Israel never quit until all the swamps were gone and the land flourished; until the infrastructure and housing was built. Most importantly, all of these accomplishments by the Jewish people were achieved with limited resources, a hostile environment and Arab and British impediment to our freedom and independence. Nevertheless, we have succeeded in making the desert bloom and flowing with green valleys; we have turned the desert into a land of milk and honey.

    Furthermore, Jewish innovations and advances in all fields keep coming on a consistent basis. We built educational institutions and research facilities that are the envy of the world. Furthermore, overcoming the harsh treatment by the nations of the world, and to ensure we, or any other people are never again led as sheep to the slaughter of the Nazi gas chamber, Israel has morphed into a world military might to rightfully defend its people. Contrary to the efforts of many nations of the world, the State of Israel is alive and thriving! (“the nation of Israel lives”)

    History has proven hate begets hate, and nations built upon a premise of hate have all failed. If all the Jews were gone (not likely), the anti-Semitic promoters and facilitators would need to feed their hate, and would turn on each other. History has proven as such to always be the end result of hate.

Try love and understanding, compassion and kindness, embrace and respect the differences, it will make living a celebration of life, it’s all very beautiful and content, furthermore, you will find the real true success and accomplishment. Jews have maintained an unbreakable connection to Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount since that time.

  33. Worldwide alert: the real Muslim mission.

    Israel has no choice but to continue to fight for its survival. Thus, it is time for a Clarion Call unifying all Israelis on a national scale, as well as all Jews worldwide.
    I have long stated the real Arab Muslim mission in Israel is NOT about alleged “occupied” land. Rather, the real Arab Muslim mission is the extermination of Israel as a nation; the extermination of Judaism as a religion; and the genocide of Israelis and their culture. The reason for such an Arab Muslim mission has been repeatedly stated by their leaders: their belief they “have the right to kill all non believers”.
    Posit the following, what if there was no “Holy Land” as part of modern day Israel? Would the Arab Muslims still demand land which they have no legal right to claim? Would they still use terroristic tactics to kill innocent Israeli Jews wishing for a peaceful co-existence? The irrefutable answer, as proven by their unfounded rhetoric and actions is an emphatic YES. The reality is, the Arab Muslims use of “contested land rights” is a thinly disguised façade to hide their true mission: the genocide of Jews and extermination of Israel at any cost.
    History proves the Arab countries terrorized and expelled over a million Jewish families and their children. In so doing the Arab countries confiscated all Jewish assets, businesses, homes and real estate totaling over 120,000 sq. km. or 75,000 sq. miles, (which is 6 times the size of Israel), and valued in the trillions of dollars. The reason they were expelled, hatred and greed. Those expelled Jewish families were resettled in Israel and account for over half the population of Israel today.
    Those in power in the Arab-Palestinian leadership have rejected again and again any and all attempts to recognize Israel’s right to exist. Although sometimes occupied, there has been a Jewish Nation in the land of Israel for the past 4000 years. In fact, the Jews are the ONLY surviving indigenous people to Israel. Yet, even though history proves there has never been an Arab-Palestinian Nation, the Arab Muslims falsely claim they have a right to Israel. Said false claim exposes the true mission of the Arab Muslims: extermination of Israel and the genocide of Jews.
    An examination of what Arab Muslims teach their children further exposes their true mission. They continue to teach their children to hate, enslave, terrorize and kill Jews, and all non-believers by any means possible. Ironically, the world idly sits by allowing such hatred and violence to exist and expand thinking it is only an Israeli problem (Déjà vu Hitler and Nazism).
    The Muslim mission in the world is not only Israel but the rest of the world, and all “infidel non-believers”. Though there are constant instances of terroristic acts throughout the world which support the above statement, we need not consider any other than September 11, 2001. On 9/11 Arab Muslim terrorists killed close to 3,000 innocent people, including children in America. It is time for the world to accept the fact the Arab Muslim mission of worldwide genocide of ALL non-Muslims, and even some Muslims, will continue until education and humanity replaces such hatred, or eliminates it altogether.
    History proves Arab Muslims have killed over 500 million people since its inception 1500 years ago. Moreover, the number of deaths by Arab Muslims continues to grow every day. They have colonized the Middle East over the years. Now they are slowly but surely taking over Europe. Rest assured if we are not careful to protect ourselves, they will attempt to take over the United States and all other countries. Then we the non-believers and our children will be forced to kneel before a sword wielding Arab Muslim, having committed no other crime than having a different religious belief.
    It is time for the world to wake up and face stark reality: wherever there are Arab Muslims there is hatred fueled conflict and terrorism in an ongoing mission of genocide.
    I hope Israel understands it cannot concede to any of the Arab Muslim demands, or give up any more land. To do so will only weaken Israel, making it more vulnerable and endangering the safety and security of its citizens. Israel must retract all previous concessions since the Arab Muslims have not abided by any of the agreements. It is time to expose the real mission of the Arab Muslims: worldwide genocide.

    Now the Jews in their own country must be protected at all costs. Israel has the power, means and resources to stop the ghetto mentality. Israel’s government must overcome the leftist attitude and their delusional mentality, Israel must hit hard all terrorists and perpetrators of violence with a no reprieve, “damn the torpedoes” policy.
    If the current government cannot protect its people, its time to change the government. Less talk and more action and results.

The UN is only an advisory capacity and all UN resolutions must be accepted by all the parties in writing to be valid, The Arabs did not agree, therefore the resolutions have no meaning whatsoever.

Muslims at large bring instability and insecurity to the non-Muslim people in the world. Over 90% of world conflicts today involve Muslims.
    The Muslims promote death and destruction and destroy any remnants of previous history which factually disproves their false teachings, and which contradicts their beliefs and agenda.
    When will the world-at-large wake-up and realize that all non-Muslims are in danger of losing life and liberty if we do not take immediate, proactive action to stem, and eliminate the growing terror and violence?
    A unified world with allied forces implementing full intelligence gathering and sharing, and security cooperation must be set-up to confront and end the unbridled Muslim terror and violent, genocidal Muslim activities.
    If the silent Muslim majority does not act to curb the extreme, radical Muslim agenda, they must be considered as complicit in all of the extreme Muslim activities; and thus, be held accountable. Fundamental “Common Law” dictates such “complicity” as guilt.
    The Media, which is always looking for sensationalism is only adding fuel to the fire, and is in fact accelerating the increase of terror and violence. Any media found guilty of such incitement should be held accountable.
    Muslim extremism has constantly made known its’ intent to kill, and subjugate all “non-believers”. World domination is the goal of Muslim extremism.     How many Jewish lives have to be lost before the Israeli government takes a decisive action, no holds barred and zero tolerance? Death to the terrorists and no restraint to terror and violence. A terrorist is a terrorist; the age of the terrorist does not mitigate an act of terrorism, or the consequences thereof. Israel must execute mandatory eviction and demolition of homes, confiscation of property to compensate for the damage and barring Arabs in those areas. Let the Arabs know that if this terror and violence continues, the price will be high and non-negotiable. Stop talking; let’s see some serious action on the ground. This situation is spiraling out of control and the government and its security forces are deliberating and hesitating to take forceful and uncompromising actions. The Israeli government must consider first and foremost the safety and security of its people and not the biased world nations, who throughout history stood idle while Jews were killed, tortured, terrorized and persecuted. Israeli people are trained soldiers; they know how to defend themselves. If the government is not able to stop this wave of terror, it is the Job of the Israelis to defend themselves. This is not Nazi Germany; this is Israel, our own historical land with our own government and a strong defense force, use it and stop the ghetto mentality. Death to the terrorists, nothing less will suffice. May the lord support you in defending yourselves, but G-d helps those who help themselves. Israel must take a strong initiative once and for all.

    After years of Arab deception, to believe peace is possible is a delusion, and another mistake.
    The Arabs have a state, which is Jordan. Jordan illegally occupied and confiscated about 80% of the land allocated to Jews under international law and treaties of post WWI.     The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is Jewish territory for over two millennium and has been since prior to the building of the two Jewish temples. It is a historical fact that King David of Israel paid the Jebusites money to purchase that property, in order to avoid conflict. Israel, after liberating Jerusalem and Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism in 1967, Israel graciously permitted the Arabs to continue to pray at Temple Mount.

    The time has come to terminate said arrangement. Jewish worshippers have suffered years of abuse by Arabs committing unwarranted acts of violence on a consistent basis. Israel has the right, duty and obligation to revoke the unappreciated privilege formally granted. It is the Arab s who are defiling The Jewish “Holy of Holies”.

    It is time for Israel to take back Jewish its sacred ground, which is the holiest site in Judaism, once and for all.

    Israel is “the only nation in the world that is governing itself in the same territory, under the same name, and with the same religion and same language as it did 3,000 years ago.”
    Jerusalem was never the capital of any Arab polity in all of recorded history. Only one people has ever made Jerusalem its capital and only one people ever established their indigenous ancestral and biblical homeland between East of the River Jordan and West to the Mediterranean Sea: the Jews.
    Israel was reconstituted in 1920 by the 1920 San Remo Treaty which was confirmed by the 1920 Treaty of Sevres and Lausanne, also by the 1919 Faisal Weitzmann Agreement. The Arabs received at the same time over 5 million sq. miles of territory and the Jewish State was to receive 75,000 sq. miles. In the years before Israel was formally reconstituted and declared sovereign in 1948, the world referred to its Jewish residents as Palestinians. Indeed, the Palestinian military units fighting with the British Army in World War Two were Jewish to the man and woman. Few, if any, Arabs or Muslims fought against the Axis powers during that war and indeed many Arabs served in SS units; often willing collaborators with the Germans in murdering Jewish communities in the Balkans and elsewhere.
    Remember, the word Palestine was the name the Romans renamed Israel. The Mandate for Palestine over the territory was granted under international law and treaty by the League of Nations in 1920 to Great Britain with the express duty and obligation of re-establishing within it a Jewish homeland as agreed to in international treaties executed after WWI.
    At that time, the Palestine Mandate covered all of what is Israel – including Judea and Samaria, or what is erroneously called the West Bank – and present day Jordan.
    What so many in the media forget, if they ever knew, is that after the Ottoman Empire was dismantled by the victorious Allies, France and Britain, at the end of World War One, many new Arab states were created with Palestine reserved exclusively for a Jewish homeland under international law and treaty.
    But Britain violated international treaties, thus, it reneged on its duty and obligation to the Jews and tore away four fifths of the Mandate territory in 1922 – that is all the land east of the Jordan River – and arbitrarily gave it away as a new Arab State to the Hashemite Bedouin tribe. Immediately Jews were forbidden to live in what became Trans-Jordan and eventually the Kingdom of Jordan: An early example of ethnic cleansing and Arab apartheid. All Jewish property East of the Jordan River was confiscated and any Jews expelled.
    The borders of the Mandate for Palestine as eventually determined; Jordan East of the Jordan River and Israel everything West of the Jordan River including Jerusalem.
    Interestingly, Arabs and their leaders had rejected any notion of a separate Palestinian identity. For them, Palestine was merely a part of Greater Syria and the Arabs were indistinct from their neighbors. Indeed, the Syrian dictator, Assad, still plots for the return of Jordan, Israel and the disputed territories.
    As far as Palestine was concerned to those Arab absentee landlords of the early years of the 20th century, living in the fleshpots of Cairo, Damascus and Beirut, the land was worthless: desolate, barren and malarial infested.
    Then the Jewish pioneers returning in the late 19th century began to purchase the wasted and barren land at exorbitant prices – much higher than fertile land in Iowa and Idaho – drained the swamps and redeem again the ancestral ancient beloved Jewish homeland.
    Jewish development of the centuries old desolate and neglected land, restored in familial love through blood, sweat and tears, ironically these brought into the territory hundreds of thousands of illegal Arab aliens who found livelihoods that were unavailable in the stagnant and corrupt neighboring Arab societies.
    The British authorities invariably turned a blind eye to the flood of Arab illegal’s seeing in them a stick to beat the Jewish residents. Herein lays the false genesis of the present day Arab claim to all the land and their descendant’s stated threat to extirpate any and all Jewish life within its borders.
    So many well-meaning people in the West, as well as latent anti-Semites, have fallen hook, line and sinker for the fabrication, delusion and myth of an Arab homeland called Palestine. So many people now believe the false and deceptive claim by the well-funded Arab deceptive propaganda machine that the Jews came and stole it, which is blatantly false.
    But though it sounds affecting and no doubt to the liberal mind particularly emotional with all the tugging of the heart strings that it implies, it is still an absolute lie just like the weed that can never be fully uprooted.
    For so many people who are either ignorant or hard hearted towards the Jewish state, they are unaware that the Jews were the aboriginal and remaining indigenous inhabitants for two millennia before the Muslim religion was created and Muslim armies swarmed out of Arabia with a Koran in one hand and a sword in the other to occupy vast territories in the name of Allah, while beheading some of the males, raping the women and taking them as slaves. The pity is that the bible as history is there for all to read. Sadly, so many ignore what is written.
    The Arabs have spread over 12 million square kilometers in the Middle East and into North Africa (the Maghreb). Israel’s territory is barely 21,000 square kilometers (it was suppose to be 120,000 sq. km.) and may soon be reduced further in violation of international law and treaties and the Faisal-Weizmann agreement of January 3, 1919, which agreed that all of Palestine is allocated to the Jewish people; if the Jewish biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria is torn from it to create in its midst a terror state called Arab-Palestine: the 23rd Arab state.
    When the world extends to the million Jewish refugees who were terrorized, persecuted and expelled from Arab lands and all their assets including 120,000 sq. km/ of real property confiscated nearly 70 years ago the same sympathetic obsession that they extend to the Arabs who needlessly left Israel at the urging’s of the corrupt Arab League, then there maybe hope for a better international community than exists at the present time.
    Fighting terrorism is not unlike fighting a deadly cancer. It can not be treated just where it is visible – every diseased cell in the body must be destroyed completely with no traces left.
    When a poison strikes the human body, the only way to address it, is to remove it and destroy it completely. That is the way the terrorist organizations should be treated.

  39. Sovereignty with no safety and security is hollow

    The State of Israel must always keep in mind its own sovereign obligations and be careful not to risk its capacity to perform the vital task of defending itself, its people, and its interests. Israel even under the most adverse conditions, it shall not capitulate to world pressure whereby its citizens safety and security is compromised.

    Israel has faced over 21,980 terror attacks since September 2000, when a wave of terror started against Israeli citizens right after Arafat was offered an independent Palestinian state.

    To date Israel’s concessions and appeasement to the Arabs has decreased the safety and security of Israel’s population. It is time to change direction and not worry about world opinion. Do not wait for the world at large to condemn these terrorist attacks, they did not care in the past when Jewish blood was spilled and they do not care now. The security and safety of the people of Israel must be first and foremost above any other consideration. That is the duty and obligation of a responsible government. Deliberating at time of National crisis without a previous set plan borders on dereliction of duty, based on Israel’s experience with terror, they should know better. Meanwhile, Israelis are being killed and injured on a daily basis throughout Israel, the people in Israel feel unsafe and the economy is suffering. Get your act together, act immediately and forcefully with no compromise, now the only way, it has to be Israel’s way or the highway. Any delay in implementation will increase terror and violence and escalate the death and injury of Jewish lives in Israel. Israel must face the bold facts. The Arabs do not want peace, they never did, they only want the destruction of Israel, Israel must act accordingly with no illusion and fantasy or false promises that the Arabs are partners for peace, it is perfectly clear that they are not.
    The Arabs educate and train their children to commit terror and violence, celebrate and glorify suicide bombers, Need I say anymore. Stop bickering among yourselves, unify, and face the enemy with vigor and determination and do not stop until the enemy is totally vanquished and peace and tranquility returns to Israel.

  40. The Consequences of Appeasement
    The decisions made by the government of Israel since The six day war of 1967 leading up to Gaza war with Hamas July 2014, as well as those of the first ten months or so after the turnover of Gaza in 2004 began, have dumbfounded historians ever since.
    The PA leader makes a speech in front of the UN and announces that the Oslo Accord is no longer applicable and that he is not going to abide by its terms. Thereafter, Arab terror and violence, car ramming, knifing, stone throwing and every conceivable method of disturbance and destabilization is being applied.
    The current Arab terror and violence facing the people of Israel, and the Arab claim to forbid Jews from Temple Mount, is a product of restraint to Arab violence and the concern what world reaction would be, while sacrificing Jewish lives, and diminishing the safety and security of Israel and its people.
    The appeasement of Israel to the Arabs-Palestinians, in particular, has been so often held up as an example of how not to deal with a rising terrorism and violence that it has become a stereotype.
    Had Israel stood its ground and responded to terrorism or any violence with utmost force. Israel would not be facing today’s crisis.
    As many have said – appeasement, concessions and lack of proper response to terrorism is detrimental to Israel its people and the Jewish people worldwide.
    Israel under International Law has the right to build and live in Judea and Samaria and any other territory formerly within the boundary of Palestine. As decried by the San Remo agreement, confirmed by the treaty of Sevres and Lausanne; of which terms are survived in perpetuity. Any deviation or prohibition is outright discrimination against Israel and the Jewish people. As past history has proven, concessions by Israel have only increased violence and terrorism.
    Israel is an independent democratic sovereign country and it must operate and run the country without being dictated how to run the country and outside interference, just like the U.S. and other countries.
    It is time for Israel to respond with extreme force to quell terrorism, violence and rioting – no holds barred, zero tolerance.
    Israel should inform all Arab leaders in greater Israel that if terror and violence continues they will hold them responsible and they will bear the consequences.
    What the Arabs could not win in loosing four major wars against Israel, they won in playing the peace game. The Arabs all the while are building up arsenals and educating their children to hate, commit terror and violence and to destroy Israel. While enriching; their own personal pockets with the billions contributed by the world to help the impoverished Arab-Palestinian. The G7 and other nations want Arab Oil and for that, they will do anything! The end result ignoring reality will destroy them also.
    What a scheme – and the gullible delusional world is buying it hook line and sinker.
    When will the World at large learn that the Arab-Muslims cannot be trusted; they consider all non-believers as their enemies. I hope the world takes of the blinders, before the Arab-Muslims take over Europe and than the United States and Canada, etc.
    I wonder, how come the nations of the world; No one is questioning the 21 Arab States established after WWI with over 5 million square miles of territory, including Jordan’s sovereignty, a country that never existed in history before WWI and which was established in violation of international law and treaties, on land originally allocated to the Jewish people in 1920, which included all of Palestine’s 75,000 square miles of which 80% was illegally reallocated to Arab Jordan. If you question Israel’s rights and territory you might as well question the sovereignty and territory of the other 21 Arab States set up at the same time by the same Supreme Allied Powers that set up the Jewish State.

    It seems the Media cannot regulate itself to present a true and honest reporting.
    Responsible and honest reporting has been replaced with ambiguous confusing and illusory news reports, with no regard to the consequences. Facts and sources are not properly verified and an inaccurate unsubstantiated news story gets released to the public, and that may cause substantial harm.
    Why is the Media not charged with incitement?
    Why is the Media not punished for staging a scene?
    They pay some individuals to throw stones at soldiers in order to film a reaction and sensationalize the episode with distorted fabricated reports. There are numerous staging of events by the Media that incite hatred and violence. Should the reporters and their management not be charged with incitement?
    Where is the professionalism, neutral and unbiased reporting?
    What has happened to ethics in Journalism?
    Has Social Media added a new dimension to honest reporting?
    Can we overcome distorted Social Media for accuracy?
    How can we verify instant Social Media images from being
    photo-shopped?
    Can we impose responsible Social Media without affecting the freedom of speech?
    Whether we like it or not, the masses are influenced by the Media, could you imagine how children and young adults absorb the Media hype, regardless weather it is truth or illusion. The damage is long term and may not be reversible.
    Children are very impressionable, they think what they see on TV emulate real life, which we know is distorted and make believe, they carry these illusions as reality which affects their future adversely.
    The Media reporting must be neutral, unbiased, balanced, objective and impartial. Violators should be subject to fines and criminal charges if people suffer due to intentional distortion of reports or intentionally slanted news to deceive or promote favoritism that escalates into violence and or cause harm and or financial loss.
    When a Media outlet intentionally distorts and misinforms the news and events, it should forfeit the right to free speech and free press and face the music. It is a form of incitement.
    In the past decades Media outlets have expanded the creation of sensationalism to promote readership and revenues. These types of reports are many times intentionally distort the facts and true dimension of the report. Thus, it creates more unwarranted dissension and crisis that leads to violence and death.
    It seems that the Media today has no emotion, no compassion. Much of the news is choreographed for the sake of sensationalism and rating. Which comes down to increased revenues and financial gain? Society today is so hungry for money, power, instant gratification and glamour, that it crosses the line of honesty and integrity on a regular basis.
    Is there a chance of going back to honor, honesty, integrity and fighting for truth and justice the old American way?
    Can the Media Overcome false showmanship, artificial presentation and insincerity.
    Broadcasting truth and reality, thereby regaining public trust in the Media?
    This very same rebuke and standards must be applied to our elected government officials, who will promise you anything to get elected. Getting them to live up to their promises is another thing altogether.
    A change for the better must be initiated and it must start at the top.

  42. It is harder to make peace than war!

    When I was in Israel supervising the building of the hotel across from Jerusalem’s Jaffa gate in 1995. The Oslo agreement was implemented. There was euphoria in the air. Many companies and individuals were talking and ready to invest billions of dollars. I myself contacted some investors to invest in building an automobile manufacturing plant which would create jobs and have a locally manufactured automobile at a much more reasonable price. All that faded as soon as the suicide bombers started blowing up busses on Jaffa road in Jerusalem. Talking peace, signing peace agreements and living in peace and coexistence are two different things. There are external powers that do not want peace in Israel. That has been going on since the end of WWI. If you know, or anybody knows a way how to overcome it and bring peace and coexistence in Israel, I would love to promote it. It is unfortunate, that you have the Arab leadership for the past 3 generations promoting terror and violence and educating their children and the masses to commit terror and violence, while celebrating terror attacks and financing terrorists. You are banging your head against the wall. It has to start with a change in the mindset and the education of the children and the masses to live in peace.
    The Arabs have to prove that they truly want peace. Israel will need to see years of non-violence and peaceful coexistence, prior to resuming peace talks. Furthermore, the world at large must stay out of it, let the Israelis and Arabs work it out without external involvement. Then you night have a chance for coexistence.

  43. Biggest Threat to Mideast Stability: The So-Called Peace Process
    The most obvious and dangerous cause of conflict and instability in the Middle East is the so-called peace process. I know this is an unusual point of view.
    Let me advance an interesting opinion: The most dangerous cause of instability in the Middle East is the so-called peace process itself. I know this is an unusual point of view. Give me a chance to explain my theory.
    By my count, there have been at least 25 major outbursts of violence between Jews and Arab-Palestinians in the Middle East since 1920. Every one of these conflicts ended in a similar way. Either outside powers imposed a ceasefire or Israel halted military operations before the campaign was accomplished and just before a ceasefire could be imposed.
    Every one of these conflicts began in a similar way: with a renewed attack by the Arab side or (as in 1956 or 1967) by Arab violations of the terms of the previous armistice or ceasefire and a blockade of the Suez Canal.
    Think for a minute how unusual this is. Wars usually end when one side or the other decides it cannot continue fighting. The losing side accepts terms it had formerly deemed unacceptable because the alternative — continued fighting — seems even worse. When have you ever heard the vanquished dictating the terms?

    I doubt many Hungarians were delighted to have lost more than half their territory to neighbors in Romania and the former Yugoslavia. The Bolivians still remember the loss of their Pacific coast to Chile in 1884. Some in Indonesia continue to regard East Timor as rightfully theirs. Yet for the most part, these nations have reconciled themselves to these unwelcome outcomes.
    Exactly the opposite has occurred in the Arab-Israeli dispute. Egypt lost the Sinai Peninsula in 1956 but got it back by pressuring Israel. Egypt re-lost the Sinai in 1967 and again recovered it (although this time the right way, after signing a formal peace treaty). I might mention that when Egypt gained its independence, it did not include the Sinai.
    Syria lost the Golan in 1967, it attacked Israel in 1973, lost again — and still demands the return of the territory.
    Arab-Palestinians rejected the 1947 partition, resorted to war, lost, and to this day demand compensation for their losses.
    It is like a game of roulette where the management stops the game whenever you begin losing too badly, with promises to refund your money as soon as it conveniently can. What gambler could resist returning to the tables?
    I understand why Western governments acted as they do. They fear that unless they somehow smooth the situation, the world oil market will be upset and radical ideologies will spread throughout the Islamic world. Just like the Arab oil embargo of 1973. What they do not see is that their efforts to contain the problem have in fact aggravated it and accelerated the hostilities by the Arabs.
    Think of this alternative history: Suppose that the Western world had not intervened in 1949. Suppose the Israeli War of Independence had been fought to the bitter end: Arab armies breaking apart and fleeing, as they have in the past, commanders laying down their arms, columns of refugees crossing the Jordan River. The 1949 war would have ended not with an armistice, but with a surrender. Arab-Palestinian refugees would have had to settle in new homes, just as the million Jews expelled from their former homes in the Arab lands resettled in Israel.
    The outcome would have squelched any hope that more fighting would yield a different result — and the more decisive result might have dissuaded Arab governments from any further attempts to resort to force.
    Now think of another scenario. In the 1990s, the former Yugoslavia erupted into war. New states with new borders were carved out of the old country. Hundreds of thousands of people were displaced. Horrific atrocities were committed. The conflict ended. The displaced adjusted to life in their new homes. Former enemies may still mistrust each other, but violence has faded and seems unlikely to return.
    Suppose that instead the world had agreed that one of the combatant ethnic groups — the Serbs, say, but it really does not matter — retained a permanent inextinguishable right to reclaim its former homes with all the new offspring. Suppose the world agreed to pay displaced persons from that group billions in foreign aid on condition that they never permanently resettle in the territory to which the ethnic group had moved. Suppose the world tolerated Serbian terrorist attacks on Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo as understandable reactions to injustice. The conflict and violence would continue. Would there be peace in the former Yugoslavia today?
    The Middle East peacemakers for the most part act with the highest of intentions and the most exquisite patience. However, instead of extinguishing the conflict, they prolong it. A peace process intended to insulate the Arab world from the pain of defeat has condemned the Arab world — and the Arab-Palestinian people above all — to an unending war, which is initiated by the Arabs.
    Every war must end — and badly for at least one of the belligerents. It is time for this war to end as well.

  44. The U.N. and the ICJ cannot create states, it can only recommend and so can other nations can only recommend and not create a state that never existed before in history. If they want an Arab-Palestinian state, it already exists, it is Jordan which has taken 80% of Jewish allocated land.
    In 1947, the UN Gen. Assembly passed Resolution 181 recommending the partition of Palestine. (I stress recommend it is non-binding) This did not create the State of Israel. The General Assembly does not create countries, make laws, or alter the Mandates (Mandates were a big brother system for setting up independent countries to be led by its native populations, with historic national connections to the territories). The Partition plan, was merely a recommendation.
    The resolution also violated Article 5 of the Mandate for Palestine and therefore it also violated Article 80 of the UN Charter. It was therefore an illegal resolution.
    What we call the State of Israel, along with her “legal” borders, was established in April 1920 with the San Remo Resolution of 1920 it adopted the 1917 Balfour Declaration which stated Israel to be reconstituted in Palestine the Historical Israel territory (not part of Palestine, otherwise it would of stated in part of Palestine) which terms are in affect in perpetuity. Only Israel can amend the terms if they sign a treaty with its Arab neighbors and provided they adhere to the terms. Palestine was created by the Romans renaming Israel as Palestine and in the San Remo Conference of 1920 It was recreated as the reconstitution of the Jewish National Home. The UN Partition Plan in 1947 which is only a non-binding recommendation, was the result of a 1/4 century of illegal British policy (The English were a trustee for the Jewish people, but they violated that trust. the British wanted to control the Oil in the Middle East, for that they betrayed the Jewish people) that ripped internationally protected Jewish rights from the Jewish People, as the British allowed hundreds of thousands of Arabs to pour across the border from Syria and Egypt and other Arab countries into Palestine.
    The Jewish State’s reconstitution was a fact 25 years before the UN existed. The Mandate for Jewish Palestine was there to protect its survival, and it was abdicated by the British, not because the terms were completed, but because the British fled with their tails between their legs, and there was no
    one there to administer the Mandate. But the terms of the 1920 San Remo Treaty and the 1919 Faisal Weizmann Agreement, have not been abrogated, it is applicable today and the future, only Israel has the right to modify the terms via another treaty with the Arabs,
    Does anyone think that after the Ottoman Empire surrendered and relinquished its rights title and ownership to Palestine and other territories to the Allied powers after WWI. Then the Allied powers set up and established 21 Arab States consisting over 5 million sq. miles and one Jewish State of 75,000 sq. miles. The 21 Arab State do not want to relinquish or redraw its boundaries and Israel does not want to concede any of its original boundaries set up in 1920 which included all the Palestine Mandate. Non of the Palestinian Mandate was allocated to the Arabs in the 1920 San Remo Treaty which was confirmed by the Treaty of Sevres and Lausanne.
    The U.N. and the other countries must take into account and address the expulsion of over a million Jewish families and their children from the Arab countries and the confiscation of personal assets, homes, businesses land owned by Jewish people in the Arab countries, totaling 120,400 sq. km. or 75,000 sq. miles (6 times the size of Israel) valued in the trillions of dollars.

    The Jewish people resettled the million Jewish refugees and their children from the Arab countries with limited resources. It is about time the Arab countries who terrorized and expelled the million Jewish people and confiscated their land and all their assets, must stop the delusion that Israel will go away. The Arab states should and must be obligated to settle the Arab-Palestinian refugees in their countries and or Jordan once and for all without compromising Israel and bring about peace and tranquility to the region.
    Neither the U.N. nor any Country in the world has the authority to create a state or dissolve a state, (check the U.N. charter and international law.)

    The Jews’ war of survival was not won when Hitler lost. It continues to this day, against enemies with more effective tools of mass murder at their disposal. And we’re easy to find now.

  45. Mahmoud Abbas belongs in jail. Israel should send troops to arrest him for inciting to riot and promoting terrorism against Israel.

    Israel must use its resources to stop this terror and violence in its tracks immediately. Israel does not have the time and the liberty to sacrifice more Jewish lives. It is the soft hand approach and the delusion of concessions and appeasement to the Arabs, while they continue to attack and terrorize Jews in their own homeland that has brought Israel to this crucial crossroads.

    Enough is enough. This cat and mouse treatment has been going on since 1948. Call in the reserves and start implementing Marshall Law or Military law on the Arabs. Zero tolerance and any violence must be reacted with full force. No hesitation on the use of live ammunition and the expulsion of the violator and his family and all their assets confiscated to pay for the damages. Stop equivocating and give excuses. No excuse will be accepted except the total vanquishing Arab terror and violence in Greater Israel.

    After years of Arab deception, to believe peace is possible is a delusion, and another mistake.
    The Arabs have a state, which is Jordan. Jordan illegally occupied and confiscated about 80% of the land allocated to Jews under international law and treaties of post WWI. The Arabs also have over 75,000 square miles of land (which is 6 times the size of Israel) which the Arab countries illegally confiscated from the million expelled Jewish families.

    It is time to take another approach. Forego all peace talks until the Arabs can prove they can control their population and live with the Jews in peaceful coexistence for at least 5 years. Furthermore, Arabs must eliminate the education of its people to commit terror and violence; replacing it with education and practice of living in harmony and coexistence. Nothing less will be accepted. It is not negotiable.

Three times a day and in daily blessings, for thousands of years, Jews have prayed “To Jerusalem, thy city, shall we return with joy,” and have repeated the Psalmist’s oath: “If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.” Jerusalem “has known only two periods of true greatness, and these have been separated by 2,000 years. Greatness has only happened under Jewish rule,” a famous writer wrote in Jerusalem. “This is so because the Jews have loved her the most, and have remained constant in that love and devotion throughout the centuries of their dispersion. . . . It is the longest, deepest spiritual love affair in history.” “It is for three thousand years, Jerusalem has been the center of Jewish hope and longing. No other city has played such a dominant role in the history, culture, religion and consciousness of a people as has Jerusalem in the life of Jewry and Judaism. Throughout centuries of exile, Jerusalem remained alive in the hearts of Jews everywhere as the focal point of Jewish history, the symbol of ancient glory, spiritual fulfillment and modern renewal. The Jews for the past 2,000 years have celebrated holidays and observed fast days in memory of Jerusalem, the hope and aspiration to return to Jerusalem and rebuilt the Jewish Temple. At Jewish wedding ceremonies a dish is broken in memory of Jerusalem. This heart and soul of the Jewish people engenders the thought that if you want one simple word to symbolize all of Jewish history, that word would be ‘Jerusalem.’ ” “The Jewish people without Jerusalem; is like a human body without a soul”.

  47. IS THE UNITED NATIONS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CREATION OF THE MODERN STATE OF ISRAEL? Part 2 of 2
    Those who assert that Israel was created, rather than diminished, by the Palestine Partition Plan knowingly reverse Cause and Effect, as U.N. General Assembly Resolution no. 181 was the result — rather than the determinant — of Great Britain’s decision to quit and abandon its obligation for a sovereign Jewish National Home in Palestine; and to execute the remainder of Mandatory Palestine terms. This is because, in February 1947, Great Britain had already announced its intention to completely withdraw from the western portion of Mandatory Palestine by August 1948. Since this announcement was made some 9 months prior to — and, in fact, served as the direct impetus for — the United Nations’ recommendation and issuance of its Palestine Partition Plan, it is clear that the subsequent British withdrawal from the western portion of Mandatory Palestine in May 1948, and the consequent Arab war of annihilation against the Jewish population centers thereof (in rank violation of the Palestine Partition Plan and international law), and the ensuing emergence of the sovereign State of Israel there from all would have occurred regardless of the existence of the U.N. Palestine Partition Plan.
    Conversely, had the Jewish population centers of the western portion of Mandatory Palestine been destroyed by the Arabs, and had Israel thereby lost its War of Independence, then neither United Nations’ resolutions nor supranational remorse would have sufficed to reverse such a catastrophic denouement.
    Clearly, there is an enormous difference between endorsement and creation. While the United Nations certainly endorsed the establishment of modernIsrael (at least within the tiny Partition Plan lines), that feckless endorsement (which was so violently rejected by the entire Arab, and larger Muslim, world) had no operative effect on the creation of the Jewish State precisely because it was stillborn.
    Nonetheless, that endorsement did bestow upon Israel a unique international legal status, namely, is that of being the only nation in the World whose establishment was officially endorsed by both the League of Nations and the United Nations.
    However, delving deeper into the realm of Cause and Effect, it may be cogently argued that the State of Israel presently exists in the biblical Land of Israelas a Jewish nation-state within defensible borders due only to a combination of the belligerence and the impatience of the Arabs. This denouement was portended by the prescient declaration of the biblical Joseph to his brothers: “ ‘Although; you meant [to inflict] Evil upon me, God meant it for Good, in order to accomplish — it is as [clear as] this Day — that a vast people be kept alive.’ ” (Genesis 50:20).
    In the absence of this belligerence and impatience, approximately 45% of the citizenry to be encompassed within Israel as defined by the 1947 Partition Plan lines would have been Arab, thereby constituting a demographic time bomb within the renascent Jewish State. In 2015 current affairs, we are witnessing the mushrooming time bomb, ready to explode in the whole of the Middle East.
    Now, let us hypothetically assume that neither the Arabs residing within the proposed Jewish State, nor the Arabs residing within the proposed Arab State, nor the Arabs residing within the surrounding Arab states had ever initiated a war of annihilation against the Jewish population centers of the western portion of Mandatory Palestine, but that they had, instead, simply acquiesced to the creation of Israel within the Partition Plan lines recommended by U.N. General Assembly Resolution no. 181.
    In these circumstances, a democratic Israel hosting such a substantial law-abiding Arab electorate (which, never having warred against Israel, would have remained in place from the outset) would not have enacted the exclusionist, but morally imperative, Law of Return (which, in implementation of Articles 6 & 7 of the Mandate for Palestine, grants automatic residency and appurtenant citizenship rights to any Jew in the World). For, it is this law, coupled with the voluntary exodus of some 600,000 Arab belligerents during Israel’s 1948 War of Independence, which has allowed the Jewish population of Israel to maintain, to the present time, its overwhelming demographic dominance over the extant Arab population thereof (at a historical ratio of 4:1), despite the fact that the Arab birthrate has traditionally been (until recently) substantially higher than the Jewish birthrate.
    Also in these circumstances, an Israel which was never invaded by the Arabs of the proposed Arab State and those of the surrounding Arab states would not have fought any War of Independence, and consequently would not have expanded from its 1947 Partition Plan lines to its 1949 armistice demarcation lines — let alone to its present post-1967 liberated defensible borders.
    Consequently, it is likely that such a demographically-challenged Israel (i.e., a country hosting a large peaceful Arab population that enjoyed a superior birthrate) would have quietly ceased to exist as a Jewish nation-state several generations ago.
    That the belligerent and impatient Arabs are themselves principally responsible for the State of Israel’s present entrenchment in the biblical Land of Israel as a Jewish nation-state within defensible borders is not only ironic but — more importantly — also constitutes a grand historic replay of the circumstances under which the Jewish people’s forebears, under the leadership of Joshua, originally conquered the Land. As is related in the Hebrew Bible: “Joshua waged war with all of these [Canaanite] kings for a long time. There was not a city that made peace with the Children of Israel except for the Hivvite inhabitants of Gibeon; they [the Hebrews] took everything in battle. For it was from HaShem, to harden their [the Canaanite nations’] hearts towards battle against Israel, in order to destroy them [the Canaanite nations] — that they not find favor [with the Hebrews] — so that they would be extirpated [by the Hebrews], as HaShem had commanded Moses.” (Joshua 11:18-20).
    In sum, modern Israel may credit its legal creation to the 1920 San Remo Conference which incorporated the 1917 Balfour Declaration as international law and its implementation of the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine, and its de facto existence to the impatient belligerence of its enemies and the consequent resolve of the Jewish people to survive.

    PS. It is interesting to note that the World at large is not questioning the State of Jordan and its territory, which has taken 78% from the international allocation to the Jewish land. The new Arab State of Jordan a State that has never existed in history prior to WWI. But, Israel that has existed on its ancestral land for over 3600 years which included; the land Jordan occupies, the Arabs and the world at large are questioning Israel’s sovereign territory. They do not mention that The Arabs received over 5 million square miles of territory and that the Arabs terrorized and expelled over a million Jewish families and their children, including the confiscation of all their assets, personal property, homes, businesses and Jewish owned land of about 120,000 sq, km. or 75,000 sq. miles (6 times the size of Israel, valued in the trillions of dollars) and that the majority of the Jewish families expelled from Arab countries were re-settled in Israel’s LIBERATED TERRITORY and currently comprise over half the population in Israel.

We must continue to acquire proficiency in defense and display determination and stamina in purpose.” Never surrender – we are fighting for our survival and the alternative is extinction.
    Israel’s mission first and foremost is to take care of the Jewish people and insure their safety and security in Israel. Israel’s obligation is to its Jewish People and not to pacify the world at large. The historical facts are that for thousands of years the world at large has always persecuted the Jewish people and stood idle while millions of Jews are exterminated and persecuted.
    Right now we are in a badly separated, internally struggling, and bickering state both within Israel and also in the Diaspora. And our enemies are happily latching onto this internal fragmentation exploiting us against each other and leading successful campaigns against us on all fronts.
    No political wisdom, trickery; neither weapons and a mighty army can save Israel or Jews worldwide unless we rise above our differences, above our argumentative nature and form a single united Nation that is impenetrable.
    And that wouldn’t just save us but would blaze a trail of hope for others in this crazy world where there are no allies or friends any more only enemies waiting for the opportunity to destroy each other.
    We may not agree on everything, but we must respect each other and work together for our common goal which is survival in this hostile world which is on a spiraling deterioration.
    “A United Israel is a Strong Israel” Unity above all is our key to survival.

  49. ‘truth only prevails’ is an aphorism of scriptures and this is the truth that when British Mandate was divided in two states these were to be Israel and Palestine why Palestine was named Jordan and the territory was handed over to some feudal lord is intriguing and why some of the same-stock Arabs living in Israel state calling them Palestinians ( the original race was extinct many centuries before ) were incited against the Jews who are real and legitimate sons of the soil the so called Palestinians must find peace among their kinsmen of Trans-Jordan area who are being called Jordanians euphemistically whereas in fact they are Palestinians therefore these people must assert their rights in their that homeland kingdom rather than fight with the Jewish people to whom the land rightfully belongs for thousand of years and now they have got back their land and their holy sites why so much ado about nothing instead they ought to apologize for the atrocities committed by their savage ancestors who demolished temples and erected mosques over them seized fertile lands and enslaved civilized people

  50. Israel it is time to re-establish complete Sovereignty over Judea and Samaria!
    When is enough really enough? For the State of Israel and its elected officials, apparently, still not yet! Every delay is detrimental to Israel.
    Israeli military occupation/liberation over Judea and Samaria aka “West Bank” is a 45-year-old mistake and must now end with Israel’s official annexation of the Jewish heartland, if annexation is needed at all, since returning to your own property does not need annexation; physical possession and control is enough. There should also be a withdrawal, not from any land but from the biased and prejudiced United Nations.
    For the sake of Jewish identity, heritage, tradition and history – and of Israeli security and survivability, must be first and foremost – Israel should immediately assert sovereignty over Judea and Samaria (Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and west Menasheh), granting Palestinian Arabs the dignified options of permanent residency status or emigration with compensation.
    Those Arabs who wish to remain should be allowed to do so and enjoy the rights of permanent residents while fulfilling the attendant responsibilities. Those who wish to leave should be paid fair market value for their property, plus a reasonable sum to cover moving expenses to Jordan (Palestine which is also Jewish land), or to the homes and 120,000 sq. km. of land (owned by the Jews for over 2,300 years) the Arab countries confiscated when they terrorized and expelled over a million Jewish families and their children, who today reside in Israel and comprise over half the population or elsewhere. Those who insist on violence should be dealt with accordingly with severe punishment and a death sentence to terrorists.
    Israel should also withdraw immediately from the United Nations (whose full name seems more accurately to be UNAI, the United Nations Against Israel and is a parasitic criminal organization) and help found a robust league of democracies, a new body where human rights violators and criminals don’t preside over human rights councils and where blocs of Islamists, terrorists, murderers and communists don’t dictate to progressive republics. The UN might have arguably been the greatest endeavor man ever embarked upon; instead, it is a tiresome farce run by malevolent criminals and circus clowns. This is one club to which the Jew, and the Jewish State, should not belong and not wish to belong.
    These are no extreme measures; rather, they are reasonable and moderate propositions representing nothing more than common sense. Such steps ought to have been taken long ago, and every day they delay its implementation, makes the situation worse.
    Whatever Israel does or does not do, it will face global condemnation, like always. The world throughout history stood idle while Jews were persecuted, killed and demonized. As our sages taught us “If I am not for myself who is”. Therefore, it only stands to reason that it should do what is necessary and proper for its fundamental needs as the Jewish national home and its people, and act both domestically and internationally with self-respect and determination on behalf of all its citizens and residents, Jewish or otherwise. Acting with halfheartedness and trepidation invites the world’s contempt like nothing else. Stop and overcome the Ghetto mentality, thus proceed to defend the Jewish people with no inhibition whatsoever and no restraint.
    Israel, you are not the world’s punching bag; end the masochism. It’s enough already. NEVER AGAIN must be action, not just words. Stop bickering among yourselves. It is time to unify our people and face adversity as a unified Nation; that will be our ultimate victory and the key to our survival.

  51. Thank you for this is clear and informative historical review. It as pertinent today – if not more so considering the events that have since transpired – as it was when written – and before. It is the responsibility of the Jewish Israeli leadership to base its policies on these and other facts that reinforce the necessity of preventing the implementation of the ‘two-state solution’ and instead to adopt a realistic alternative such as the ‘humanitarian solution’ proposed by Dr. Martin Sherman. As long as the the Israeli leadership continues to proclaim the same failed destructive phrases, one can hardly blame the rest of the world for adopting the same stance.

  52. Face it – No Arab-Palestinian state west of the Jordan River
    If you read the 1917 Balfour Declaration (Which emulated Napoleons 1799 letter to the Jewish community in Palestine promising that The National Home for The Jewish people will be reestablished in Palestine, as the Jews are the rightful owners). Nowhere does it state an Arab entity west of The Jordan River. The San Remo Conference of 1920 which incorporated The Balfour Declaration into International Law does not state an Arab entity west of The Jordan River, confirmed by Article 95 in the 1920 Treaty of Sevres. The Mandate for Palestine terms does not state an Arab entity west of the Jordan River. It specifically states a Jewish National Home in Palestine without limiting the Jewish territory in Palestine. It also states that the British should work with the Jewish Agency as the official representative of the Jews in Palestine to implement the National Home of the Jewish people in Palestine. I stress again; nowhere does it state that an Arab entity should be implemented west of the Jordan River.
    As a matter of historical record, The British reallocated over 77% of Jewish Palestine to the Arab-Palestinians in 1922 with specific borders and Jordan took over additional territory like the Gulf of Aqaba which was not part of the allocation to Jordan.

    No where in any of the above stated agreements does it provides for an Arab entity west of the Jordan River. The U.N. resolutions are non-binding with no legal standing, same applies to the ICJ. The Oslo Accords are null and void.

    It is time to relocate the Arabs in Israel to Jordan and to the homes and the 120,000 sq. km. the Arab countries confiscated from the over a million Jewish families that they terrorized and expelled and those expelled Jews were resettled in Israel. They can use the trillions of dollars in reparations for the Jewish assets to finance the relocation of the Arabs and help set-up an economy and industry instead of living on the world charity. The Arab countries were allocated over 13 million sq. km. with a wealth of oil reserves.
